This goal and his contested mark against Haynes, where the highlights of the game for me.
You can tell the elite players very early on in their careers, Corey is one of them.👍

Form has dropped away in the month. 2nd year player iirc. So not unexpected.

But what struck me earlier in the year is the agility and smarts together with how good his hands are… can see him playing like a Liam Baker in 3 years or so.

I don’t get it, Cotts had a ripping game and has been showing massive improvement. He’s hard, bleeds blue, disposal has improved greatly & decision making progress has gone thru the roof.
"Yep" the players that think the game is actually faster than what it is, yet seem to be keeping up with ease turn into above average players.
Still don't think he has fully settled so more upside to come.
Totally different type players but Honey is on the same path, with these players coming on, our list all of a sudden looks deep.

It's not simple as that and if you don't mind, please refrain from telling people to "get over" anything. It's borderline moronic, contrived and uber cringe for plenty of people. Saad may like it, he's certainly too decent a bloke to ask people to stop doing it. He certainly never asked for it. The original was done as a way of sending the huge kicks of Ang Christou and Val Perovic into orbit. Predominantly very long kicks. I'd say half of Saad's are tiny little passes. At the very least he's the wrong bloke, ultimately it's a failing attempt to re-create something from the past that developed naturally with something as fake as 2012 *.
I think it has evolved organically. We have seen the growth of his personality and the buy into team and structure, not just run until trouble arises. He is in All- Australian contention and hits darts from 15 to 50! That one to Cottrell was sublime! He also has a connection to Ange. I’m over 50 and loved Val and Ange as much as the next old fart and I think they would applaud that the next generation of Bagger supporter are seeing success and acknowledging Carlton history by including a contemporary in this symbol of support.
Just my opinion.

Really? Based on which one of his 34 disposals?
plenty, had a shocker, mid fifties for de, kept trying the superman schtick, kicking all over the place, left foot deplorable, had a mare.......

Yep. One of Walsh and Cripps got 4 & 2 while the other got 5 & 1. Some of the comments on Cripps game are pretty ridiculous. He was great. He just seems to have a couple of moments of madness every week that stick in people's heads..
I really don't think he was great.
He went at 55%, but his possessions were 10 contested to 23 uncontested.
He got his goal from a 50mp, burned 2 other shots, and all his other possessions contributed to a total of 3 scores. He had 7 clangers.

I thought Setterfield was much better.

Perhaps by his lofty standards but his physicality at the clearance was phenomenal. His DE is misleading because so many of his possessions are under significant duress. He did hero ball too often but, I think it’s hard to belt that out if him after years of shouldering the load. Agreed his left foot is just an appendage the serves little purpose of note!
I thought it was a high quality effort, particularly his leadership and physical presence. So did the coaches!
