I'm 4-1-0-6.

I'm sure that the better performing teams would generally be 6-0-2-6 or 6-0-1-6

Interesting situation.

Sounds like your priority is getting 1st, because you’ll then play 4th in first week of finals, win that and have a week off. If that is likely then what Hava Alle said makes sense.

If you’ll finish 2nd, then I’d save the upgrades as this week is irrelevant. Boost upgrade during finals to get best available at the time. I’d be tempted to go Rosas to Stewart (even though he won’t play this week, you’ll want him next week so it’s front ending an upgrade) and that’s it. Next week it’s Reeves, SDK, Macdonald to Best available ruck (watch Marshall), Culley, Best available defender. 6 trades left with still 100k or so left in the bank, you can target your opposition with your remaining trades in finals.

I have no rep for advice here, just replied as it’s interesting!

Will most likely trade Rosas to Culley

Which means i have the following options:

Option 1
-Whitfield to Dawson, Dale or Vlausiin
-means I have to field Culley/Carmichael or Soligo for Jelly

Option 2
-Jelly to Mills/Laird
-cant afford Oliver unless I trade Wehr down to a rookie.
-trading Jelly means i field Whitfield if he is back or Wehr if he is out.

Option 3
-Jelly to Marshall via a forward
-Whitfield to Vlaustin
-no rookie on field

Option 4
-Jelly to English via forward
-Whitfield or Wehr down back


-ideally I keep Jelly as he will only miss 1 week.
-i'd love to be able to trade Whitfield next week as then I can get Stewart
-Dawson's match up corncerns me this weekend, cash league opponent has him
-English match up concerns me, cash league opponent has him
-if i trade in Dale i then have 4 Bulldogs players along with 4 carlton players and 4 GWS players.

So much to consider, have to win to make cash league finals, be really nice not to have new inuries each week. Getting sick of sideways trading premiums just to stay afloat.

Also, can only finish 2nd, so my 1st week of finals will be against the the 3rd team as you all know.

But yes, I need to beat the top team to win it all as its very hard to beat (got me by 200+ points only 2 weeks ago, but I did do downgrades that week, I basically threw the game to try and build for finals)

But Dekoning is a DEF-FWD, not sure how I do the 2nd trade suggested by Hava Alle?
