It'd be those meddlin' kids
I would have gotten away with it, if it wasn't for those kids. It'd be those kids
Ah Queensland ........Beautiful one day , itchy the next ( I hate those bloody midgees)Hey ! Jones is on the Gold Coast playing for Currumbin.....beautiful spot !
At the game the last Thurs, thought everyone looked there about / did their bit, yet Plow looked a mile off it. Not in terms of conditioning or awareness etc. It just stood out quite obviously to me that the game had moved past him against quality opposition. It was quite pronounced and a bit sad really, have never been a Plow detractor, I actually think he gave a lot more when it was his time to go than most on the list last few years. I guess the positive take away is that against quality opposition we matched it and won and the game can leave you behind very quickly. Swings and roundabouts. Unfortunately I think Plows opportunities will be limited here on in. Positive is we have a game style and calibre of individual that have caused that.I’m starting to warm to Parks coming in instead of Plow
Huge up here in the wet this year!.....itchy right nowAh Queensland ........Beautiful one day, itchy the next ( I hate those bloody midgees)

Another great startThe reason I didn't rebut you is because it didn't deserve one... but if you insist!
We're objectively and subjectively not, and it's basic tactical and more complex form considerations that would see us make a shift. In what world do you think one of the most inform team going around (and definitely to Carlton standards) is going to be suddenly swinging the changes?
Rewards on-going performance metrics from reserve and first team players. Communication is key.I mean what does that actually do to the team?
Sort of, and no. And as I've said repeatedly, in terms of the tapouts, the ruck opposition has been some of the weakest the league has to offer in terms of first choice options for a side.Pittonet IS one of the core reasons why our mids are getting their hands on the ball and is also part of the chain.
Nope, there's just more activity around him. Our midfield chains are incredible with and without him.He is in ripping form. He has elevated his game and we're reaping the rewards....
We're a tough at it midfield... he's the centre of it.
No, he's a high half-forward that's playing very loose.Now Fisher.
The only way I can explain that choice is that you simply do not understand his role.
He's the smaller player Mr Fix It, whilst SOS is the taller playrr Mr Fix it.
His link play has been mediocre, and he isn't creating any quality opportunities for team mates. He's reaping the rewards of a midfield that is genuinely providing 22-35 disposals a head to everyone in it.He complements our tough inside mids well by being outside the pack, quick at hand and feet linkage role we're establishing. With leg speed, can play attacking forward and defensive forward. Can pitch hit in the mid and offers that elite pressure.
I'm starting to think the sheer number of single line comments and lathering of superlatives suggests you might be taking an overly emotive stance that isn't reflected in reality. He has done his role to perfection.
Newman was the weakest interceptor in the defensive unit, by far (3). Also barely made a spoil (2). There are midfielders that outperformed him in terms of defensive duties, even some forwards that came close, albeit not really in the D50.On Newman, I have rewatched the game over the Dogs several times and his game has been undervalued externally, but doubt it would be internally. When we were under constant pressure, he was one of the main players intercepting or the avenue out. Yes he does a mistake here and there, but not often.
The ability to identify and work to supplant weaknesses and enhance strengths in a performing team is what separates the good from the great. We were long overdue for being good with this list, which is why two senior coaches were sacked, and now we're in the window where we should be quickly evolving into great.Above all, why are you looking at a negative angle to these players rather than positive? They've done a shitload more right than wrong.
This season a player here and there may be unreservedly dropped for positional/match up purposes, but it won't be 3 when we already have injuries.
Yes there's no doubt he does the odd job on a dangerous small forward but he just isn't a part of a confident and coordinated backline. He is just so negative and reactionary. At the game the last Thurs, thought everyone looked there about / did their bit, yet Plow looked a mile off it. Not in terms of conditioning or awareness etc. It just stood out quite obviously to me that the game had moved past him against quality opposition. With the unfortunate injury to McEvoy … I don’t see the need to go in with two rucks …
