Surely Jones and Thomas aren't close friends. They look like completely different personalities.
Since when have all close friends been of the same personality?

I'm looking forward to the stadium being at Salamanca in Hobart (and indoor) for footy trips.
Nice old style city with a good vibe, views etc.
Plus things to do such as hiking.

The thing people generally don't understand about Hobart is that it is actually a beach culture down here.

Most households have either a kayak, fishing boat, sailing boat, paddle board ... lots of fishing, sailing, swimming, surfing.

Add in the great walks and hikes in real wilderness, some of the best golf courses in Australia, great local food and drink, strong art community, and a real work-life balance thing. It's not too bad.

Bring in some AFL every other week with our own team in a new flashy stadium, just another tick on the list :)

Is there any substance of truth that we're in with a chance with Thomas?

Just want to know before getting hopes up.

TAFKATMS ?
No chance.

If it takes a week to do a deal that’s already agreed in principle what do you think the chances are of negotiating a deal from scratch or being proactive/using initiative?

Every year same story we hope for blue chips but keep turning over organic spuds

Most decent deals are done 6-12 months out.

Rnkine and Dawson are both blue chip.

Adelaide 36rs side instantly the best NBL side in Australian Basketball history...that is just unreal and what a feeling for the players!!!!

Edit - just watched the last 1/4 on youtube and 36rs hit 25 of 44 3 point shot attempts. NBA commentator says they would win the NBA shooting like that every night

Did the Suns roll out any of their stars or just second string players?

Yes I'm too lazy too google it.

All the stars played. Paul, Ayton, Booker , Bridges, Johnson - played 23 minutes each (managed) and bench was full bench

The starters had a plus 11 overall and we smashed their bench. Hit 25 of 44 threes

Heard a rumour that the Adelaide 36ers beat the Phoenix Suns.

In true Sixers fashion, game won or lost by jacking up 3s continuously.
No rumour 24/43 from downtown. If we could keep that percentage up the 36ers are the 2022 Champs.

I adore Tassie! I go there every year (bar COVID years 20/21) for the Festival of Voices with my choir. We do a couple of days workshop (previously in Stewarts Bay or Ratho Farm or Barnbougle) and then a few days in and around Hobart performing. Anyone who poo poohs it has clearly never been there! Not sure I could live there, but I LOVE visiting.

Good???..thats like saying a ferrari will get you from A to B.

It was a phenominal effort. Having said that, all the players that were doing the damage for us looked new from last year from memory but i dont follow the 36rs that closely these days
We've recruited exceptionally well. Should be a good season ahead.

Keep that percentage up, they could regularly win in the NBA.
