Good chance the rain will be well gone by kick off.
Weather won't be anywhere near as bad as it might have been.

Latest forecast I saw was rain stops at 4pm. It will be cold & windy - but dry.

Pitto in and we overwhelm Sydney at stoppage. Can always sub him for run but doubt we will.

Precisely.

The way to beat Sydney is to dominate clearances. They will be very mindful of that and I suspect Mills will stay close to Cripps as he has done to Dawson and Oliver in the last 2 games. They can’t tag them all however so Cerra, Hewett etc will be key as will having 2 strong rucks like Pitto and TDK.

Suffice to say the weather helps our contested style more than Sydney who rely more on run. Similar dynamic to tonight’s game with Melbourne thriving for the contest as opposed to the Pies who like to run. As Vossy said let’s play to our strengths!

Saad, Weitering, Kemp
Docherty, McGovern, Newman
Acres, Cerra, Hollands
Martin, McKay, Cuningham
Owies, Charlie, Tdk
Pittonet, Cripps, Walsh
Cottrell, Motlop, Hewett, Boyd
Dow sub

Can’t wait for finals to begin!

Marchbank in consideration shows how highly he's rated internally. Pretty much puts to rest any train of thought anyone could have that he'll be delisted. Do remember Leon Cameron once saying out of all the players they (GWS) lost, he was the one that really hurt. He's a big talent, just needs continuity.

Fisher and Cincotta are the two that are in the most trouble in defence to hold spots. Boyd would have to come into considerations also, but really intrigued to see what we do.

So nice to have a near full list to choose from and be having these selection headaches.
