Just an accident, tried to smother, can't legislate all high contact out of the game.

Tried to smoother and then tucked his shoulder in
Should of not braced like that
The hell did he think would happen?
Head high blokes out cold and won't play next week

Needs to be rubbed out for two games

It looked like he cocked a shoulder> wasn't deliberate but that's not the rule any more. He has to show that the was his only option. Don't think it was. But then with the show court who knows.
He turned and braced in the air. Duty of care to himself but didn’t have to do it.

Again, who ****inf knows. Might get 4 might have no case to answer.

Maynard should go for that, jumped in the air and turned his shoulder to hit Brayshaw's head but being a Pies player he will probably get off.

No surprise the Ch7 commentators are defending him especially BT who is a Pies man, if it was a Saints player they would be hanging him.

Sometimes they do, sometimes they dont

When smothering a ball you want to be in line of it and creating a wide and big area with which to smother the thing. Tucking and turning is the antithesis of a smothering action.

Won't get cited though, it's the AFL they have a narrative to push.
