Are you deleting all the others at the same time?

Hinge, Dawson, Jones, Nankervis, Cook - there's a LOT of tall mid types taking list spots. Is it smart to be spending draft capital bringing more in?
If we played Dawson on the wing then fair enough, but currently we don’t.

Cook has been training at half back.
Jones???????????
Nankervis still a baby, who knows when he will get a game and how he will go.

If NWM is better than all of them besides Dawson, why wouldn’t you want to improve our side? I’d be using our 2024 first on him

A lot of ifs that should be answered this year. If so, then the benefit of adding a high quality wing would not necessarily match the cost to do so.

IMO the outlook on our list will look completely different at the end of this season as to what it does today.
That is true, but I don’t think we will know if Cook and Nank will be quality AFL wingman by the end of the year, think their chances will be limited.

Jones ain’t a quality wingman, another year won’t make any difference.

If we played Dawson on the wing, case closed.

Himmelberg at least makes some sense given his RFA status, a contracted (2024) Hollands not so much.

He becomes somewhat gettable in 2024 if he hasn't re-signed by mid season or even later the same as Rankine.

Then again Carlton might interest him now if he wants out.
i didn't say we would get him this year

i think we have bigger fish to fry

We may well do and with we catch them great, but will we?

Meanwhile if there’s a highly talented SA junior wanting to come back, you can’t just pass up on him and you know Port won’t.

We don’t have an abundance of classy ball users, the more the merrier

Himmelberg would be a great get ....although, do we want to give up another 1st round pick in a supposed strong 2023 Draft .....we definitely need to go to the Draft this year .....still need a Mid & KPD

Do we really need NWM ...or is he more of a "want" by supporters ? ....our Wing roles are very well covered already

What do you think NWM would cost, Draft Pick wise ?
Isn't Himmelberg a free agent?

If one was gettable at the end of this year and we were genuinely interested, who is the general consensus pick:

NWM or Will Day

Will Day, but why not try for both. I gave us little hope of getting Dawson or Rankine but we did, let's not stop there, the more we add, the more attractive we are to come home to.

We have good picks this year and next years to offer, turbo charge the rebuild, it's what Melbourne did.

Fremantle coach Justin Longmuir is hopeful star defender Brennan Cox will make an appearance this pre-season as he struggles to overcome an infection in his knee.

The Dockers coach revealed Cox recently injured himself in a skateboarding accident, but the injury worsened when the defender’s scab became infected.

“We think the Adelaide game, he’ll play,” Longmuir said.

Anyone know how the trio of young SA Swans players are tracking this offseason?

Matt Roberts, Will Gould and Dylan Stephens.

With Hawthorn possibly about to be stripped of draft selections, could he be the 'Bernie Vince' sacrifice for a draft pick?

Obviously not ideal to lose a young promising player, but if he's already out the door, he gives them potential to get into the first round.

Just on that, I'd love to see them actually lose their first round selection (racism investigation) after they have deliberately tried to tank.

Oh wow

Doubt it’s for anything more than pumping up his own value, but he’d be an awesome get
Unless he has doubts on there direction, they will be in rebuild mode for awhile and likely wooden spooners this year.

He could have seen the recent ex-pats returning home and thought it’s more accepted now.

Come on Reid, nail this one and that’s a bloody good trifecta of returning players.
