Does walls genuinely not understand that the saints have a lower PSD pick than us?


Walls is good at drafting but has left a alot to be desired with his trading tbh

Don’t think you understand that they aren’t going to let walk for nothing…

That puts us in a good position


Walls unfortunately is an open book, not a great negotiator, I can see why we originally avoided choosing him for this role, great at picking draftees but not the greatest negotiator

There is so much movement these days, clubs trade in good faith. The Pre season threat would hardly ever be talked about anymore.

Clubs don’t like letting players leave for nothing.

They went the hard line with Lobb last year yet everyone knew they were going to trade him.

Both clubs would know what the deal is.

I wonder if Tom Mitchell is there. Has a business with Neale and is going on a business trip to the USA, with, you'd assume, Neale as well. So Jaeger might be drawn into that somehow. Otherwise, there's always the Queensland factor.

There may be things they know internally at the club we don't that won't be effected by the position Walls has been putting out there of late. They do seem a bit passive though...on a number of fronts.

I think you're reading too much into it. I found it funny how open he was because it's mainly for the supporters, there's nothing he said in that interview that he wouldnt have already talked about with SOS.

His stance was perfectly fine, his form the last 10 weeks warrants pick 12 (but no one in their right mind thinks we could get that straight up), being uncontracted means we want an early 2nd in value. Pretty much exactly what this board has said, lets see if he gets it before jumping on him
