Hello Dockers fans!

The embedded resources below are kept up to date by the trade board mods (as much as possible – we are human after all). Enjoy!

Unless we finish near the bottom again or both us and port miss finals, both first round picks probably isn’t enough for McDonald, I feel like that port pick might be used to get into the first round this year

We really havent taken a gamble, I feel like I need to sticky this. We will not lose this trade on value, it is almost impossible
but snuff I want shiny new toys and I want them now

He'll be OOC.

Unless he kicks 80 goals next year, he's not worth more than that.

I cringed a little bit when I first read it, but then I remembered the million bids + compensation picks coming before 22.

Worst case is we finish last and Port win the flag where we pay pick ~30 for a 1 spot upgrade.

The potential upside is massive.

I think you can keep Treacy if Jackson moves out of the forwardline permanently (mid/wing/ruck/unicorn mode whatever).

There are no guarantees, but there is much more scope for this to be amazing for us compared to bad for us. The only outright bad would be them playing in a GF and us finishing bottom 3. Everything outside that is fine.
Finishing last will mean we will need as many first rounders as we can. So it’s a win win

17 was eaten up anyway so those late picks pay for 17

So it's really 2 firsts, likely 2 Teens firsts for 4, decent deal if they don't fall in a heap next year

It's three first round picks traded for one pick, worked for both parties but arguably Dogs are all in now.

I think Snuffaluphagus is right, this is a no-lose situation even if we finish last and they win the flag (which is outlandishly unlikely).

Just shows you how ****ed the draft is with all the compensation and bids really.

So 100% confirmed St Kilda being campaigners. STRAP YOURSELVES, WE GOING TO WAR OVER LIAM HENRY
Why are you surprised?….
I said SOS and Allen are campaigners and would be very much so on this trade (only confirmed by CTD on SOS in relation to our club the other day).

There’s nothing theyve ever done at trade time over their careers that would’ve said otherwise

Okay sure we will win trade on value but can we ignore the trade calculator for a second. We are gambling on the following:
1. L Mac will not re-sign with Sydney
2. L Mac will sign with Fremantle
3. L Mac will be worth the trade
4. We can land Collard (assuming we want him and we would be stupid not to) with the f all picks we have

Pick like 20+ for 27 and 27ish

If we finish about same spot and port finish prems
23 -> McKay, Walters, Read, Rogers, Croft, McCabe, Gresham -> Pick 30

We could finish last and our future 2nd pick is already pick 21.

It would probably just about cost pick 30 to move from 21 to 18.

We cant lose that trade, we draw even in the insanely small scenario they win the flag and we finish last
