The best kick I have ever seen from TDK was his backwards 50m kick on the weekend. He is a TERRIBLE kick, never known why some rate him so highly.SOS loves TDK.
Let's see how this one plays out

We need as many first and second rounders as we can get, this year and over the next few more futures…Reid is a standout, but I would never offer massive overs for 1 player
Crows offered up heaps for pick 1 (JHF)
What they offered (which was knoked back), essentially gained them Rankine, Rachelle, Dawson
Correct, if we don't have 3 picks inside 30 this year I'd consider it a failure tbh. I have a lot of faith in Austin's selections but he has been somewhat conservative which I'd like to see change this off season. Changes are needed, just not the crazy trade Cripps and Mckay ones being thrown around here atm.We need as many first and second rounders as we can get, this year and over the next few more futures…
We’re not even close in being in a position list wise to be giving away multiple early picks for the one player, we need to manufacture over the next 2/3 years in obtaining as many as we can get, and hopefully reload on the busts that have occurred during this current rebuild…
That's my point. Is that a trick question? Obviously them lol. Young supporters don't give a stuff about that stuff (at least not when deciding on a team to follow). They either go for their parents team or another one that wins and is exciting to watch.
100%, in so much as 1/5 on a court can have so much more impact than 1/20 on a field. I'm not saying you don't need quality, it's a given, but increasingly you need the right kind of quality.Whilst I think you make a good point...I don't think NBA is a good example. The vast majority of championships have been won with teams of 2 or 3 superstars.
It's really rare to see a squad like the '04 pistons win it all. NBA requires starpower moreso than AFL.
Agree the Cripps Harry Weitering calls are crazy talk, definitely we need to manufacture a couple of trades that can help create towards the picks in that top 35 range along with our future picks as well…Correct, if we don't have 3 picks inside 30 this year I'd consider it a failure tbh. Even when fit and "firing" he does it for about 5 mins a game.I did say fit and firing…
Martin has all those attributes but his body has let him down badly.
And a small tip of the hat to Riley.
Crocker no chance, imo. Ronke has some appeal, as does Cahill. Not sure where this post belongs but Carlton VFL listed players Ned Cahill, Ben Ronke Luke Parks, Tyree Leiu have nominated for the mid season rookie draft next week.
Interesting to see anyone gets a gig
Edit- found the list! Crocker nominated too
Crocker is leading the votes for worst performances this seasonCrocker no chance, imo. Ronke has some appeal, as does Cahill.

#BluemourI'll leave this here....
Bontempelli..
Thats my fear, we dont learn very well.Every time we have dealt with them, they have walked away grinning. Off-loading the likes of Billie Smedts, Darcy Lang and then Fogarty. All three were okay talents at VFL level, but were never going to make the jump to AFL standard.
Well we paid nothing really, and yes, that’s still probably too much.
Due to our other wingman on the list he seemed like the second coming of Robbie flower in comparison, but now not so much. I’m not even sure he’s an upgrade on LOB.
You say manufacture a trade .. who would you trade that can yield a second or third rounder without selling off a top 10 playerAgree the Cripps Harry Weitering calls are crazy talk, definitely we need to manufacture a couple of trades that can help create towards the picks in that top 35 range along with our future picks as well…
Having no 2nd/3rd rounders this year isn’t ideal one or both would have been very handy, i think Austin will need to get more creative this year to try and bring in a few extra picks hopefully in that range…
No ways he gets 4 years .. I would be shocked if he got thatHearing from a good source, Pittonet signed for another 4 years.

Last off-season he took 3 picks inside 32 and managed to bring in a best 22 player in a position of need. We were also on an upward trajectory so it was very unlikely we made many big moves in moving on players.Correct, if we don't have 3 picks inside 30 this year I'd consider it a failure tbh. Please don’t jinx usNot sure why TDK would choose Geelong, sure he would be number one ruck but there list age profile is scary. 11 players 30 plus with most of them over 32, sure they have some good players, but I think this team is bottom 6 next year. Haven’t been overly impressed with the talent they have under there ageing stars either. Danger being out exposed how pedestrian there midfield is without him.
Agree, a lot it is system based, identifying your strengths and planning a game style that suits. Don’t think we are a complete write off, I believe Voss needs assistance in strategy and game style. Don’t think our current list of assistants are bringing much to the table.I would love to know how people rated Collingwood’s list 18months ago, Geelong’s half way through last year and Richmond’s at the end of 2016.
I really don’t think our problems are as big as it’s being made out in regards to our list.
