An idiot calling up SEN you say?

On SM-S901E using BigFooty.com mobile app
Apparently we should trade 2 &3 for 1 because we could get the next Dustin Martin at 1. Forgetting conveniently that Martin was taken at 3. And Bart is a Richmond supporter

It wasn't Bang Bang Bart was it?

It's not like they've slotted Reuben Ginbey there at 1.

Ashcroft is a bloody good player, who had a bloody good first season before getting injured. Sure he was part of a really good midfield, but he was more than holding his own whilst he was there. We have to remember we bid on him ahead of Sheezel in the first place, and whilst Sheeze's first year was better overall, this is a re-draft based on future projections. On that basis, I've absolutely no issue with having him in a re-draft as pick 1 because I think he will be one of the best midfielders in the comp, if not the best in a few years.
That said, I think him and Sheezel will end up top 20 players at the peak of their careers, but midfielders are inherently valued higher.

I'd also go as far as saying, provided his hamstrings hold up, I saw enough from George that if I was truly forced to pick one of him and Sheeze, I'd pick George. I was that blown away by how good he was.
I would not be under estimating Ginbey he is going to be a really good player in his own right.

Would love If internally we had settled on our current draft hand. With an open mind to live trading- ie a club comes at us on the night offering their 20ish pick + F1 for #15 or something like that.

But externally we drive a narrative that we're desperate for Reid and completely **** with other clubs heads just to throw out their planning.
So West Toast offer their F1 and pick #23 for our pick #15...Sounds good to me..:D

Eventually Bart breaks down sobbing "I just want north to get ****ed"

Long pause before sympathetic SEN host places a metaphorical hand on shoulder "We all do son. We all feel that way"

'WC need to receive 'a free 1st rounder.'

If they are absolutely hell Bent on Reid, and noone allows us to trade our late picks up.

Then split 3 into 6 & 11.

But keep 6.

North: 1, 6, 15, 17, 18
WC : 2, 11, 23

Absolute worst case a swap of picks 18, and 23.
North : 1, 6, 15, 17, 23
WC : 2, 11, 18

Reid & Caddy/Osullivan/Curtin
vs
Mckercher & Duursma

Splitting 3 and then handing over 6 is in no way shape or form palatable for North.
It just looks so much worse than picks 2 and 3.

Googled generational talent and got these names for the last few years:

Ashcroft, Daicos, JHFF, JUH, Rowell, Lukosius and Walsh.

Thats a lot of generational talent in only a quarter of a generation. This must be the greatest generation of players ever.
Lets say the last 50 years for example how many generational players do you reckon there has been Mav i reck probably no more than 4 Carey Mathews Ablett senior maybe lockett probably missed someone though.

Any of these guys any good below? They've been mentioned as some underrated names in the draft.
Will Graham, Oscar Ryan, Kristian Ferronato, Will Lorenz, Bodie Ryan, Cooper Simpson, Aidan O'Driscoll.

Bodie Ryan was one of SA’s best in the champs. Strong marking neat half back.

Lorenz was being talked about as a top ten pick earlier in the year but just don’t kick on as expected, still some talent there though.

O’Driscoll is a small hard running midfielder who has a bit of pace. Was one of WA’s best performed players at the champs too.
