I can understand that! Fremantle would be keen to get a couple of WA kids ahead of WCE, could do 15 & 17 for Port's F1 and either 34 or F2. Another death ride could be fun
We are paying overs unless Port finish out of the 8.
Freo are the ones who should be paying overs to move up the draft.

A couple days ago, I wouldn’t have thought Hardeman and Demattia would be available at our picks. For all the moaning, they are absolute needs, pace and footskills in the back half. Doubt we will get both, but one if available absolutely makes sense from a list build perspective IMO.

Twomey will hit the first 10 or so until a trade throws it out.

You do realise this isn’t Twomeys take?

He gets fed this by the list managers and recruiters. It only becomes opinion after the top 10-12 picks.
So you are saying its guaranteed that we are getting Duursma and McKercher at 2-3 cause the list managers and Recruiters have told him.

I’d be pretty filthy we if took both DeMattia & Hardeman. Really only need one additional half back with some run and carry.

Really don’t like that we have been linked to Phoenix Gothard as well, I can’t believe he is being rated inside the top 40 let alone the top 20. Don’t see him becoming anything more then a mediocre 20 goal per year small forward.

Agree on Mattia and Hardeman though one would be really good.

Whatever happened to that Delean kid, he seems to have dropped out a little as a small forward type.

Yeah for sure, much more dominant, versatile and more of a modern defender than DGB was.

DGB was a good prospect but did have some obvious red flags imo.

What are the red flags?

He gets good mail, but its his take insofar as its premised on the notion there will be no pick swaps, even though it seems likely there will be a pick swap in the top dozen picks this year, and he willingly admits that.

For sure, but the pick swaps won’t effect our first two picks. I won’t read too much into the other three, other then who is available.

Its possibly futile but I'm hanging onto a skerrick of hope that Twomey just has NFI about our drafting intentions after Kerch, because he's getting zip from those inside the club, and the club hasn't given the players clear indications about their intentions.

He does have a pretty good track record, so its just a skerrick.

There is a report on Fox that Clarkson who is in Perth is infatuated with Curtin so that might upset a few phantom drafts

There was talk he was infatuated with Watson, there has been talk he's infatuated with Collard, he's head over heels for McKercher, last week I saw him massaging Dylan Stephens in two different places (well, it was his shoulders but at the AFLW final and at training).

He's one of those guys which I find endearing in a way... he genuinely enjoys the character of these young blokes. I remember him on the draft telecast last year being seen talking and giving physical affection to kids drafted elsewhere that he must have had a rapport with.
