Clean skills from McCluggage just outside 50, sends it forward and Daniher marks. Misses from 50m out.

Swans scrap it forward from a clearance, Lions couldn't stop the scrambling ball. Goal Swans.

Lions: 11.7.73
Swans: 8.5.53

Lions losing a lot of clearances in the 4th quarter, pressure has dropped right off. First 10 minutes all Sydney. Lions look to slow the game down, holding the ball and kicking it around to slow the Swans momentum.

Lions: 11.8.74
Swans: 8.6.54

Swans move it up the ground with ease, Franklin involved in the chain. Good mark from the Swans deep I50. Gettable shot but drifts it wide for a behind.

I was ready to call it a failed experiment 10 minutes in when he fumbled the ball and flew for one he really shouldn't have, but have to admit it looks intriguing.

I still want him forward of centre though - at least we always have the option of throwing him on ball or into F50 if we need a spark.
Why though? I like Cam, I think he has a huge amount of talent but he hasn't been great in our forward line other than some glimpses. I don't believe there is room for him in the forward line when we play 3 talls.

Lions: 12.8.80
Swans: 8.6.54

Out of the kick-in the Lions go coast-to-coast with fast footy, catching the Swans off-guard. Cameron with great running, kicks it to Dunkley who marks it straight in front, 35m out and kicks the goal.

Lions: 13.8.86
Swans: 8.6.54

Lions out of defense, send it down the wing, good play from Fort who sends it forward. Linc to Charlie and goal! That'll be the game done.

I actually hate the easing off. It's practicing a behaviour that we never want to see.
I hate when we do it during the season. We really tend to give teams a way back in. I understand why we do it during preseason because we don't want any injuries, but I agree it's sets up the mentality that once we are up and about we can just coast the rest of the way

Lions: 14.9.93
Swans: 8.6.54

First 10 minutes of the 4th was lacklustre but it's been all Brissy in the last 8 or so minutes as we found some extra gas in the tank. Lot of F50 stoppages for the Lions, ball spills to Coleman and just misses from 40m out. Ball stays in the Lions F50 from the kick out for more stoppages. You wouldn't believe it, it's Coleman again and this time he scores!

It does sound like an interesting one with Cam down back. Could be the absolute making of him - whether its permanent or just a great learning experience for a little while.

But it does seem to suggest he is best as a more medium third tall. And with our love of three tall forwards (and guys like Linc and Cameron who like to play tall at times) it makes it hard from him to play that role a lot
