Lions: 9.5.59
Swans: 6.4.40

Good control from Cameron in the fwd pocket, combined with Gunston to Bailey, gives a good fend and slots the goal.

Lions: 9.6.60
Swans: 6.4.40

It's all Brisbane in the 3rd. Daniher with a 50m pass to the fwd pocket, mark from Cameron but misses the set shot.

Lions: 10.6.66
Swans: 6.4.40

Swans just cannot get the ball into their forward half. Good defensive structure from the Lions. Mark from Andrews just outside 50, then gets a fifty and scores the easy one.

Reckon our running between contests is better. We are getting in and winning hard ball, but then getting the ball put. Defensively we are getting to contests to tackle and support.

Mccluggage has been super clean this quarter.
Coleman still pushing forward constantly but the swans have put a hard tag on him.

Mckenna definitely adding something, but will take some time to just get his touch and disposal tidy. Not a senior lock for me, might need another month or 2 of skills work.

Shoulders are a really complex joint - so many different movement angles and rotations.

Even just reattaching a single ligament can change the movement and cause long term problems.

Reconstructions have the lowest rehab prospects of any joint.
I've had a shoulder reco and the shoulder still isn't great. I had it when I was 22, I'm 33 now. The biggest issue I have is muscles in by back/shoulder blade knotting up and making it impossible to put my arms in certain positions. Sometimes there is no warning either. It just all of a sudden happens. If Dizzy is experiencing something similar then it just has to impact his game.

Lions: 11.6.72
Swans: 6.4.40

Swans finally got it forward for a minute but Lions eventually rebound it out, switched to the outer side and moved it well up forward no mistakes at all. Beautiful passage of play from the Lions. We get it inside 50 from Coleman, handball to Daniher and he snaps from 35m out! Best passage of the day!

Half time entertainment: Mighty Lions, it was me who flew off the handle re your comments about Michael whiting. I did so because your ‘some of his past’ comment looked not like an opinion on his journalism but an ambiguous, non-specific attack on him as a person on an anonymous forum where few, if any, participants would know him personally. I saw it and thought ‘what, did he poison a kindergarten picnic? Murder half a dozen ex-wives? Invaded the Sudetenland?’
Subsequent comments indicate you were talking about his football writing, in which case I was overreacting so I apologise. But maybe be a bit more careful with language. A harmless opinion can look like a cowardly smear which I now accept wasn’t the case.
