So we've lost 6 out of the last 7 games and AGAIN the ONLY changes we make are FORCED. By deduction, everything else is working perfectly and no need to drop anyone who is not performing. Mind bogglingly stupid with a major touch of arrogance.

I think the amount of injuries may have made it difficult to.

Voss asked if Dow is in.

With a laugh replies "we might find that one out a little bit later".

What sort of response is that from him when he knows he's not in. Whether or not his selection is justified, how is his non selection amusing at all.
That's about as poor a show of leadership as possible. Pathetic.

Happy with the ins, although probably would have chucked in Dow instead of Ed as our sub.

I feel for Paddy D, but alas the club and MC clearly don't rate him and from their (pragmatic but harsh) perspective, probably don't feel any inclination to play a bloke in the seniors who won't be at the club next year.

Feel sorry for Dow, give the boy a chance. Not sure what he’s done not to get an opportunity, but pretty obvious papers have been stamped.

This annoys me more than anything I can remember of late. The Coach thinks he can make a joke out of a non selection. Time he was reminded that we have won 8 1/2 games out of the last 23 and he can find a ******* funny side.

I'm officially eco.

These changes were totally predictable, of course. Like for like replacements, and why change a winning formula?

Only interesting thing will be that if i remember correclty JSOS played back last week in the reserves and young forward/ruck. Wonder whether we try that again with SOS maybe going to Fritsch.

"No selection integrity" yet the INs were amongst our best in the VFL game last week...Dow has never come in when we have had one mid out this season - not sure why people were expecting it. If the Cerra appeal was unsuccessful probably a different story.

This extremely poor on his behalf. He doesn't rate him and that's his prerogative, but to laugh at the chance of him coming into the side when you can see the guy in continuing to try his guts out in the VFL is extremely poor form

He could have said what he said and not had his snicker with his response.

If you see that arrogance as a player from your coach how are you expected to hold yourself to higher standard too.

Forwardline looks incredibly slow, no need for young this week he just makes an already slow team even slower

Fish kicked ass in the first half then backed off was horrific the game before that, JSOS was dead set poor then avg, LOB did sweet * all.

Seriously he can GAGF after that comment and his non-inclusion. Just on his non-inclusion really. What a joke. And what is the point of naming him emergency every week when he's clearly never going to play? Are they taking the p1ss??? Is it some sort of in-joke?

Reckon Dow's refusal to seek a trade last year virtually sealed his fate. He was only ever a part of the VFL program in 2023, the shame is that the club didn't come out and tell us like they did when Lachie Henderson told them he'd all but signed with Geelong for the next season. Seems petty, but the club has completely misread the members, surprised??
All any of us want ever is a fair and open playing field, if what I am suggesting is right all that has been accomplished is that we have missed out on a player from the last draft because we didn't have the gonads to delist him last year.

Dow will be at the club longer than he will, watch him laugh his ass off when Voss cops it & is packing his bags.
