Hollands cherry ripe for a riding star nom this week I hope? He really picked up the slack after Walshy went down.

Tommy Boy (DK) was also dominant despite his goal scoring conversion woes.

Dow was unfairly maligned during the game, he did his job that was required of him very well, and I am glad he got that goal, hopefully gives him confidence

What can I say about Brodie Kemp ? His nickname should be The Professional, cause he is the consumate one at that !!!

Can't remember the last time we won 5 games in a row, I believe Methuselah was around back then.

An extremely satisfying day at the office, despite our unfortunate in game injuries

The Eagles have been far more competitive since the belting they received against the Swans; and, despite having our entire starting midfield out, we annihilated them. Can’t complain at all.

Brilliant to see Hewett back in form and dish out the one-touch handballs. Dow clearly began to back himself in the contest as the game wore on; Cerra and Cripps back next week helps cover Walsh’s absence.

Dows great until he needs to dispose of it …then it’s kick and hope
Game high centre clearances, 2nd for inside 50s, 3rd for clearances, 2 clangers.
Disposal efficiency wasnt great early but sorted it out.
Gotta find another target for someone to bag, his stat line is very good & kicked a nice goal.

Ed Curnow was good today I thought

Really happy he got to take part of Charlie's special game !

Shout to Lachie Fogarty for really seizing the day since he came back from the VFL Abyss
Looks like a keeper, he has plenty to offer.

George Hewett almost back to his 2022 form.

Injuries aside, there really is so many positive/encouraging signs from today's win friends.

Another pair of afl select cards coming this week for me I reckon. RS - Ollie hollands and Hilites - Charlie Curnow.

On the plane heading to Europe, just saw. LFG!

Are these injuries serious? Assuming it’s just precautionary?
Walsh set for scans. Motlop I reckon too. JSOS probably okay. But he can easily take a week off with pitto coming in.

TDK going forward today was very good so that should help us inside 50.

50 % de 8 turnovers let's not get carried away mate...he won't hold cez or cripps out lol

A solid team performance, albeit against less than stellar opposition. Great to see Charlie cash in.

Also reckon today answered a few selection questions that get batted around here:

- Young forward? Nope, not by choice anyway. Hopefully JSOS is OK for next week.

- Dow was decent, but Hewett clearly better.

- Honey and Cowan also clearly below their direct replacements, though that wouldn't surprise many.

All in all, seems like confirmation that our team selection in recent weeks has been spot on.
