Someone please persuade me from picking up Matthew Kennedy. He's in my team but I know that it's stupid and I should bank the cash and pick up sharp. Please.

Interested in thoughts on Gulden. Was one of two options for me last week with a low break even and a bargain price at $490K. Decided instead to use my 2nd last boost and bring in Oliver instead, to consider potential DPP's or Darcy Cameron for the final forward spot instead.

Whilst I was always getting Oliver, still spewing as Gulden went nuts and inreased 69K (biggest riser in the comp). His average has jumped to 108 (sub 100 2 weeks ago) and Mills went down, which should mean more mid time. He still has a very low BE with back to back 150+.

However, 50% of teams already have him (more at the top) and he is now worth over $550K. Still look to bring him in or look elsewhere?

Why are people grabbing Sharp? Surely he makes way for Rich next week.

Their 22 is very solid. Don't see them dropping McKenna, Wilmot or Berry.

Screams dead rookie to me. Am I missing something? Of course Fages isn't going to come out and say "yeah, he's only in for Rich".
But he did say he's a player who needs multiple games in a row to build confidence at the level. Doesn't mean he will get it, but Fagan specifically chose to say that when he didn't have to say anything. Also not sure exactly what McKenna is doing to deserve a cemented spot in the team.

Hmm I was going to get Walsh next week to throw him fwd when he gets DPP. Maybe I should get Gawn instead, cause unless he plays a blinder this week, I’ll be able to afford the warlord too.

Is Walsh looking more than likely? I thought it was only a maybe at this stage and perhaps less likely (i.e. Petracca)

Round 12 - Gawn + English
Round 14 - Marshall + English
Round 15 - Marshall + Gawn

I tried to do similar last year - kents all went and injured themselves to fook it completely

From my understanding Sharp won't be in the side for long.

Number of guys at VFL level putting up decent numbers including Ah chee plus Rich back shortly.

Need help with this mess...

Need mids most of all but the 'bargain' guys keep showing they shouldn't be brought in (Brayshaw, Steele, Mills, etc) and the fallen premiums are still falling (Neale, Laird, etc).

Was thinking:

Option A: Play it safe and go Chandler to Sharp, Hopper to Walsh.
Option B: Take a risk and go Wilmot to Sharp, Hopper to Gulden, Chandler to D.Cameron (uses last boost)

Thoughts on these options or any others

Can’t make a decision. Can go Wilmot to Sharp, Hopper to Clarry but empties the bank on the eve of Byes.

Or can just cash in and downgrade.

Guess I can’t keep missing out on Clarry every week, but in a year where full promo looks to be impossible, that extra money would help get an extra rookie off the field down the track.

Here’s my shit truck of a team. 67k in bank.

Dev Robertson too. The go home factor will be strong if a talent like him doesn't get games. Trade him to WCE, he'll play every game...
He's worth a punt for me.

Fagan said Rich is at least 1 more week away. I reckon they'll be conservative, so couple weeks, the bye, back in round 13.

2 games from Sharp and he'll make $100k.

Berry is an inside player who is playing on the outside (getting zero CBAs). Last week Sharp had 17 touches. Berry is averaging 17 touches for the season.

Berry, McKenna, Wilmot could all be dropped/sub.

Fagan has a good record with playing kids.

Robertson isn't even an emergency. Neither is Answerth who got dropped last week. Ah Chee is pushing, but he's had lots of chances at AFL level.

Pros and cons. Just back your gut. I'm downgrading this week, and he's the best option for me.

Stuff all cash generation and definitely have to trade Hopper and Mckenna.

30k in the bank and could use my boost.

Hopper, Mckenna and Hollands -> Drury leaves 956k for two 'keepers'. So I am shopping in the low 500s or mid 400s.

1) Doc & 438k or less (JJ or Atkins)

2) De Goey & JJ/Atkins

3) DCameron & JJ/Atkins'

4) Kennedy & Serong (3k bank), Gulden (50k), Merrett (45k), Sic (63k) or Doc (100k)

What are we thinking lads.

Do I take a punt on JJ, Atkins or Kennedy?

No harm using your boost. 3 trades in each bye round will be plenty.

Don't mind either option. I think Cameron is a big risk, he could get lots of time forward and on the bench. May score low-ish. But it's a good long-term pick. He'll start scoring well soon enough.

Does option A leave you with enough money to 1 down/2 up next week?

Just get Oliver

Ginbey, Ashcroft, Atkins, Ryan, Chandler and Mitchell are all making good money to help build the bank up again

Not way in the world will Berry get dropped before Sharp, it just won't happen I can promise you that. Plays as a defensive winger quite well.

Wilmot will stay in over Sharp too. Mckenna could get dropped.

I believe Answerth hurt his hamstring in the VFL hence why not emg. Ah Chee likely sub so could definitely see him playing well.

Anyway just passing on information I have heard. I am scraping the barrel for cash so likely going Drury instead.

I have the dilemma of choosing Stewart or Gulden + bank 50k this week but for his current price I think you're paying overs and missed his best scores for the season. He could go nuclear again against North but I think 560k for him isn't the play. Bye in a couple rounds and will probably shoot up to about 600k if he continues to ton up but I would wait and see when he inevitably drops in price again. There's some other good FWDs emerging too (Butters, most likely Walsh and Gawn).

Fair enough. Sharp is still close enough to the 22. That's good enough for me.

Sharp at $170k down to a $102k during the byes would be handy.

It'll take Drury 3 or 4 weeks to get to $170k.
