Your post is giving me a headache to try work it out.

Chandler Hopper and Setters out. Then pick one of Drury/Sharp and the best 2 premos you can afford.

Can’t make a decision. Can go Wilmot to Sharp, Hopper to Clarry but empties the bank on the eve of Byes.

Or can just cash in and downgrade.

Guess I can’t keep missing out on Clarry every week, but in a year where full promo looks to be impossible, that extra money would help get an extra rookie off the field down the track.

Here’s my s**t truck of a team. 67k in bank.

New option. Completely coming from left field but it gets rookies off the ground. It also gives me a couple PODs which is appealing. Zorko and Atkins are both underpriced IMO. It leaves me with 33k itb to do a Pedlar & Ginbey to Sinclair & rookie trade next round. Obviously it uses my last boost. I think this is the more aggressive option and maybe (only) because its 5 AM but i like it

Why i like this option:

It utilises cash pretty much as well as possible. Im selling Marshall, Ashcroft & Chandler at peak prices and getting in 3 keepers, all on the upswing. It gets rookies off the field quickly. It gives me PODs. It helps with bye rounds. It more efficiently allocates 'resources' (yes that is intended to sound like economics) as it takes money away from the ruck line and utilises it in other positions that need it (FWD/MID)

What i dont like about it - It may be the week to build a war chest as Humphrey/Sharp could both turn out to be good/great rookies. It also takes away my last boost which i was planning to hold up my sleeve but i guess we have 3 trades per week over the bye period anyway.

I think ive talked myself into this now. While I'd love to wait a few weeks to swing Gawn forward and keep Marshall & English in the rucks, i think i want to use Marshall's $ now. In effect its like i did the 'somewhat popular' Marshall > Gawn trade last week except i banked the 31k price rise from Marshall.

Just do the Sharp trade and you have $650K+ to spend on a premo - why have so much in the bank?

It was what trade assist suggested I'm not really doing those trades.

For some unknown reason the lack of brains trust down on Royal Parade have decided to play our 2nd strongest inside mid with the longest kick and best marking prowess as a sub multiple times in lieu of old aggots Ed Curnow, and also off a HBF to which he has literally never played in his life.

They’ve also decided to move our most in form mid (Cerra) of the last few to the back half against the Doggies.
