I’m considering between Ridley vs Dawson (incl cost of another trade)

I’m not too sure which way to go
What do you see Ridley avg from herein?

Dawson scoring not as good as the start of the year.
But he's prob still got some big scores in him.

Rids totally unsure on him..

Sharp>Yeo
Mackenzie>Ford
Ziebell>Macrae

You can’t burn me 🔥. I’m already cooked!

Ziebell to JDG sort of fixes my byes up as I'm ok Rnd 14 and really need a playing mid Rnd 15. Can't say I've ever done a proactive trade before, has always been reactive.

Gents, I'm starting to have my doubts that SC Plus is correct with these break-evens for players on their bye!

The Wilmot B/E of 90 doesn't seem right to me with an 83 & 29 in his rolling average... It might be, but it feels a little high. Then I noticed if you click on the little comment near his name - which is usually nonsense - it says it is 44 after the bye.

Then I saw this for Ashcroft which has me questioning even more:

EDIT: Yep, confirmed. FFS... Do people actually pay for SC Plus!?

Seems to have corrected itself now, Davey.

Breakevens are updated on the app.

Looks like its been updated.

How hard is it to get right?!?!

Two in two days.

Im going to start reading the convo chain beforehand now, as I’m turning into the resident Sandra.

Get it together, Veingloryhole, ffs.

I could do Zeebs to Petracca this round.

But until my team is complete, trades are too precious.
At best he has a few more decent games, at worst he is a more than capable D7/F7.

After running out of trades with 5-6 rounds to go last season, and having to run Paddy MacDaddy as my D6 after Hewett was put on ice, thus costing me a top 1-1.5k finish, I’m going to hold a bit of bench cover for the run home.

I had Boak and Treloar as floating M9/F7’s late last season and it was invaluable.

This. You’d have to be pretty confident you won’t be fielding any rookies later on to justify sidewaysing premos before the byes even begin.

One completely out of the box this week and doubtful anyone has looked at it to be honest.

Ded Roberts to Ford.

Ground breaking I know. I think (and touching wood) I’m ok until r15 with some cows still making money (Knevitt, Bear, Cincotta, Ford, Weddle, Mitchell)

If you’ve got 18+ trades at the beginning of the byes with only 4 rooks to upgrade you might consider it, but I’m at 15 with Shitkins, Ashy, Humpa and Smitch to get off the field.

14 after I get Ford in this week.

Edit: 13 trades left. Ha. Haha, ****.

Lots of people are doing that trade.

Anyone else shorting Ziebell this week?

If you told me 11 weeks ago I could trade Ziebell to Laird for just 35k when the price difference was 312k, I would have ripped your arm off. By Round 15, if JZ averages 90 across three byes he could drop as low as 480k. If Laird beats up on GC in a dewy contested beast game before pummelling WCE he could hit 630k which is essentially 130k difference. Its a compelling scenario...

Yep, I’m biting the bullet and upgrading him to Dawson for a measly 25k!

Zeebs and Seamus out. Pendels and Ridley in.

Leaves only Humpa and Ashcroft to upgrade with Wardlaw/Cinc/JVR on the bench.

10 trades left to upgrade 2 spots. Hoping to one up one down them, leaving me with 6 for injuries and luxury trades.
Love Pendlebury at his price, but just be warned he could be a sub vest threat in games we are comfortably up, like a few rounds ago

Think I've decided I'll make a second trade (after Ryan to Ford) which will be Simpson to Wardlaw.

I'm trading S Mitchell to Neale next week and reckon I'll be just short of cash to do it without the second trade. Not seeing any good rookies likely to be on the bubble next week so would prefer to take Wardlaw now so I'm not having to add another dead rook. His 40 odd last week is understandably throwing people off but I reckon he'll get back into the groove, particularly against weaker teams. Could be season long cover or even help fund a late upgrade.
