Never even occurred to me that I’d use Melican to cover Oliver but here we are … no way I’m passing up an 86.

Though I still get a free look at Johnson via Constable and Day. This is the most useful Constable has been all year.

I have the exact same players and possible scenario, but with my own footy on this arvo there is a chance I dont have enough time to make the Constable/Day swing if Johnson scores better than Melican. That 4:35pm start time is a bugger.

3rd vs 4th in my main league (I'm 4th).

He was projected to win by 100, 2450 to 2350.

But it is now 457/4+C (him) v 374/3 (me) and he's now only projected to win by 20 odd. I'm in this.

The 1.45 games will go a long way to deciding the result, he has Dawson, Laird, Rachele, Ziebell, Macrae, Dale and Serong and I have Bont C, AndyB, Chayce and Sheez.

100 percent hold. Even if you have a injury now that is not long term, ride it out if you can. You want to reach the finals of your leagues with 3 or 4 trades left in the bank, to cover injuries and suspensions during it. Waste them now, then your hands are tied should you be a player short. You have a full team now, that is what matters. That is more than most people have. No point doing sideways chasing the "perfect team"

Same, although I fear the worst, just had a look at the reserves Eagles side playing East Fremantle today, both O'Neill and Dewar named.
Leaves Maric and Barnett as the emergencies in the seniors. Looks like Sheldrick's score will sit on the bench for me. FM. Cannot get a break.
