Hollands > McKenna is likely. Yes, it is a week early but i need another decent backline cow. The following round ill probably look at getting Setterfield and JHF in.

I just need my top 4 mids (Laird, Clarry, Bont, Jelly) to not be complete spuds and/or avoid getting injured next round.

His BE is 41 so he only needs 118 ((41*3)-5) to reach his BE over the next 2 games doesn't he? You would think if he doesn't get injured he would score more than 118 in his next 2 games.

I reckon he’ll avg around 60-65 so will run it close. Point is it has massively delayed his growth. I can’t cop that in round 1.

Jelly will have to go, and I think I'm gonna end the Clark experiment early (despite my usual hesitation to trade after R1) – 59% TOG, role didn't look great, and his skills were horrific.

Option one: Chesser > Sheez, hold Kelly a week and field a rookie, hold Jones if he plays next week.

Option two: Kelly (assuming he misses) > LDU and Chesser > Sheezel, keep Jones at D3

Option three: Fire off a boost and go Kelly > Callaghan, Chesser > Sheezel and turn Liam Jones

I started 5 premo mids so Hopper would go to M5 and Callaghan M6.

Any thoughts on which option is the best? I'm leaning towards option 3 but not sure if it's dumb to use a boost and three trades so early, someone please tell me if it is.

With the 36 trades, I think I can afford to be aggressive this year. I wouldn't usually recommend it, but Jelly is a special case.

Will give it proper thought later on when I see rankings etc – might be a POD to hold trades with everyone having to deal with this week's carnage. I'll see

Sure does The main motivator is that there's no really suitable sideways/downgrade options for Clark, so would probably downgrade Jelly and turn Clark into a premo – he looked terrible.

I've got 2 trades which feel obvious-Jones to McKenna and Cunnington to Gulden.

Part of me wants to stick it out with Cunners but he doesn't look to be first in line for CBAs and without that I don't see how he becomes a keeper playing for North. Also have a feeling I'll need to boost to trade rookies next week so don't wanna end up stuck with a bombing Cunnington.

I wanted to bring Daicos in but I think I'm happy enough with Ridley as my D3.
