Very happy with the amount of Jelly trade outs. Keep it up kents, he will be even more of a POD!
Hope we hear some more news later in the week confirming that he'll only be out for a week. If the concussion lingers and he sits in the pine for 2-3 weeks that could kill us.

In other news Hunter Clark had a good role so I'd be holding. He had 33% disposal efficiency and still somehow scored 54. If he gets that efficiency up to afl standard (which he has the skills to do as he's a good kick), and his tog slowly creeps up then he can definitely score what we want him to. Though in saying that, if he scores crap again, I'm out.

Is Hopper a must trade at this point? Or too early to jump the gun?
Too early. Gotta give him at least another week. If he scores 60 again, then it's a straight swap to any other mid-pricer (or premo if you have the $$$).

I would get rid of Hopper as part of a restructure if it nets you a premo.

Yes his CBAs were lowish last week and was on a wing a bit. I am giving him 1 more week if he scores poor again I'm trading him.

Keen to hear what anyone else would do with this?

I've traded out Jones > McKenna. LJ's cash gen is dead, and it gives me a bit more spare in the kitty.

I was going to trade out Hopper and Flanders to JHF and Callaghan, or maybe Gulden and Pedlar, this week too.

But on reflection I'm tempted to wait another week to give them one last shot at redemption.

Only problem is that like everyone else, I'm gonna have to do some rookie corrections next week.

Thoughts?

13/20 CBA's with 72% TOG. Role is fine. TOG bad. He was so slow, and just didn't look fit.

Will give him one more week, but would need 75+ and to look better for me to hold.

Can Jones to McKenna wait a week? Could be other backline rookie carnage with players dropped.
If Jones is named, I’m keeping him, i feel he could be a beneficiary ala what happened to Cox and Ryan with the ball spending a lot of time in the backline due to the Saints game plan.

Good thing the Lions play Friday so the full Dogs teamwill be out by then, giving me at least a couple of hours to mull it over if I want to swap to McKenna

Worst of all his disposal looked terrible and he looked lost with ball in hand. Big fail on the eye test

I saw 55% CBA's so 72% makes his score look even worse. I have No loyalty to Tigers players in Supercoach if they aren't scoring they are out.

Stewart needs to go...I've narrowed it down to Docherty vs Young.

Docherty the safe option. And hugely popular at 41% ownership. But he failed to ton up in his most recent games against his next 3 opponents.

Young is clearly a player on the up. And gives me an extra $100k. I think of the 3 Freo defenders who went big last week, he will be least affected by a change in gameplan. But of course he is not as proven as Doc.

If Jones is named I'll probably hold. But tbh I'd rather he wasn't named because I'm nervous about having all of him, Hopper, Constable and Flanders. If all or even 3/4 of them repeat their round 1 efforts in round 2, I'll have wished I moved one of them on this week.

In his favour Carlton have a stronger midfield than Adelaide. But he needs to improve fast or he's gone.

Somewhat hoping Hopper fails again so I can trade him to Callaghan. Would have enough to cash in the bank at that point to do all my rookie corrections and bring in a genuine premium the week after. On any line.

Thinking more, it seems that what I'm really missing here is spare $. I feel like to make the needed rookie and mid corrections next week I'm going to need a lot more cash, which many others will have due to trading down Stewart. Obvious moves would seem to be trading Laird down to a cheaper mid (LDU or Cogs perhaps, or just a cheaper SP) or trading Dawson down to Daicos or Young. Neither are moves I'd be inclined to spend a trade on, but I think I could be in real trouble going into next round with only 47k. Thoughts?

The question I've asked myself is this:

Liam Jones is a cash cow whose BE is now 78. How realistic is it that he'll produce enough cash in the next few weeks to be worth my while?

While its technically possible he produces a few great scores, if he isn't too injured, I've come to the conclusion that its not all that likely.

And the spare cash I get from trading to McKenna this week is a bonus that helps fix next week's rookie carnage.

Jones>McKenna it's a no brainer

Love seeing everybody chasing scores. Back your boys in. Round 1 trades should be injury or rookie corrections IMO.

Grundy 120, Hopper 110 and Andy Brayshaw 150 incoming this week.
Yeah.
Back your premos .

Mid price chops in the gun .

Alright campaigners how do I fix this
Stewart, Bytel, Jelly and Jones all injured as well as me being an idiot and picking Fyfe

Was originally going to do just Stewart > Daicos and Jones > McKenna, with a maybe a boost on Fyfe > Gulden which would allow me to do rookie corrections without a boost round 3

First trade is locked, if Jones is fit I think I should keep him and hold off for 1 week but McKenna sort of looks like a must have. Now Bytel is injured as well as Kelly so my Mids are looking thin too and means I'll have to somehow not leak points there for a week.

Could Bytel > Sheezel and swing a FWD to the Mids but I don't really like jumping on a rookie after 1 game.

Final option is to delete team
