He's getting the McGuiness tag you would reckon. Can he overcome it? Maybe. But there are folks trading him in with a sideways and then sticking the VC/C straight on him. That kind of play has a tendency to blow up in folk's faces
I wouldn’t sideways any premo personally. More if you can upgrade a Hopper/Callaghan type.

Nah, no Chandler. Sheezel is my F6 and my F7/8 don't have DPP (and aren't really worth trading), so don't really want to pass up on Ziebell and have Chandler on-field.

Chandler will make quick cash, so is a fine pick. I just don't think his scoring is overly sustainable, and with my structure, I'd be forced to hold him for a bit which wouldn't be ideal.
Sure u arnt over-thinking it ?
Cheap rook scoring points. Looks fairly locked in as well.
Its Bubble Week. You just buy them.

Would you trade out Greene/ Caminiti for Chandler?

I’m not, I’ve got other players to burn my trades on :p

Tossing up between

1
Jones —> Daicos
Bruhn —> Chandler
Darcy —> Cameron

2
Darcy —> Cameron
Rat —> Chandler
Bruhn —> Ziebell

3
Chesser —> Setterfield
Bruhn —> Chandler
Darcy —> Cameron

Any suggestions?

BSmith and Bruhn to Naicos and Sheezel locked. Third will be either Callaghan (his arms looked close to falling off) to Setterfield, or Flanders to Ziebell.

Just short of going-
Young-Daicos
Fyfe-Setterfield
Flanders-Ziebell

Thinking of trading Doc instead.
Young was on fire for his first 5 quarters this season and looked lost after he got poleaxed. Tempted to back him in.
Or I just miss Ziebell and get in Chandler?

Don't trade Docherty.

I still have a bloke with less than 1% ownership.

Setterfield's BE is -49. This is the kind of bloke that is an excellent tool if you want to upgrade early and have your team complete before the byes.

Ziebell's is -23, and he could well end up being a keeper at F6/D6, or a very nice 23rd man at D7/F7
Eddie Richards? TayTay Adams? Sheeplover Hurn?

Teams are definitely converging, it’s easier to say…

Which posters are not getting at least two of these players this week?

Setterfield, DCameron and Ziebell

Throw in LDU, Daicos & Chandler in the mix for the third trade

Whatever happened to PODs? o_O
Yeah I've been a little involved with SC before but not really paid attention to the %s until this season. It really is simply a case of starting with the 10+ players in common with most people and then by round 3 everyone has traded in 5-6 more "no brainers" for under-performers. The cash cow deadline doesn't help. But you're practically an idiot if you didn't start with basically all the 30% and above players, likewise if you haven't made it a priority to get all of the above players listed into your side ASAP.

I'm in the same boat, to trade Dale or not? I'm torn as I hate giving up on premos this early.

I have Hunter Clark, who I am on the fence with too. His numbers were better this week, and with Steele out could come good?

If I hold Clark and trade Dale, I can go Dale/Bruhn/Flanders to Daicos/Chandler/Gulden or C Darcy. Leaves me with $52/62k in the kitty.

If I hold Dale and trade Clark, I can go Clark/Bruhn/Flanders to Daicos/McKenna/Chandler, which leaves me with $110k.

Any other wise thoughts?

You'll be able to get Dale again for a much lower price if he returns to form. I've traded him to McKenna and made BULK DOLLARS. Dale would need to pull out a 140 and McKenna a sub 50 this week for any regret to be felt.

Looking at your side, you'd be able to turn Bruhn, Flanders or Clark into genuine premiums if you made the same trade.

It’s now or never for Clark!

I’m going against the odds and giving Clark one more chance, otherwise he becomes Bowes next week

Scoopsroy always did have a nose for the story, without wanting to become the story.
He's going OK (and seems to be cutting Dale's lunch a touch,.but haven't watched closely tbh) 👍
