We gain something coming up from the bottom when younger players develop (at least the ones who do)

You’ve got to replenish every year so that you can benefit from the development

We haven’t done that; and we’ve lost 2 first 22 players

Meanwhile the best player traded goes to Collingwood. It’s not like they’re the current premiers or anything

It's not completely clear, but I don't think Himmelberg has said anything at all. One media outlet said he was looking to join his brother, but I think that was made up. The only good information was from GWS who said that they had been having amiable discussions with Adelaide over a long period regarding Himmelberg replacing Keeffe. I think they initiated it. The brotherly thing seems to be somewhat incidental.

Burgess was never a Himmelberg replacement: that was Chol.
