The scary part is that Rowey said Silvers talked to guys like him, Blight and others before Silvers got the job to try and get the lay of the land at the Crows. Rowey said he gave Silvers both barrels about what he was walking into and it seems rather than fight the flow Silvers has just gone downstream with it.

Is Silvers one of the alright ones? I can't keep up. I know Kelly and Nicks need to go in the bin.

Silvers oversaw a pretty successful period at Hawthorn but I guess our stench of mediocrity may have rubbed off on his nice suit.

Silvers was COO I thought, so part of the machine, not a driver of it. I don't think he's a change agent, rather someone that settles in and keeps everything ticking along.

End of the day, I used Balme as an example. If you'd read my other posts you'd realise that I was basically bagging kelly and his skill set.

He came from long term administration roles. Maybe it would've worked if Nicks was an experienced head coach?

I think there's opposing opinions on Vozzo. He's been up for a few things and missed out.

Personally, I don't think we can look past SA aligned footy admin talent. We need everything we can get
