Thoroughly enjoy listening to her (when she doesn't call a player "Most valuable primate")
Yeah, she ****ed up, but apologised

Definitely good listening to her commentary... compared to likes of Mark Nicholas.

Would've been a bigger issue if she was white
I think the most amusing part was how the very Indian looking and very Indian named Isa Guha, had to put out a press release saying "I didn't intend to be racist to the Indian, because, you know, I am of Indian descent."

The "primate" remark was Isa's (inelegant) attempt to widen the scope of Bumrah's excellence. As in, he's not just the most valuable human, he's the most valuable of all primates. Bit weird, but doubt there was any intent to offend.

She should have just used the widely accepted MVM (most valuable mammal) that is so prominent in sporting circles. Would have saved herself a lot of trouble.

I am sure there was no intent to offend. Im sure though that someone pointed out the connotations within the Australian sporting landscape, hence why she apologised the next day.

What's it got to do with the Australian sporting landscape?

Was an English commentator offending Indians.

Well it was during a telecast of the Australian Cricket Team, where the viewership across the 5 tests was 13 million.

Pretty bloody relevant to the Australian Sporting landscape if you ask me.
