Third person today told me that we are interested in Chol. Play him down back?

Not sure where they are hearing these rumbles (no inner sauce)
He met with the club last week. Hawks have the bigger offer for him.

I'm happy with a trade where we give up 2, 3 & 14 for 1 & 5.

But only if we rate pick 3 & 5 similarly (if we would be getting, say, Watson or Sanders either way) so that it is essentially 2 & 14 for 1.

That would mean that West Coast need to close the gap between 14 and 5.

I would give up something else, like pick 40, if we get Chol in the deal.
Yes sir, this is what I’ve been saying.

Reid and Sanders >> interstaters Mckercher and curtin

The info I got on Oliver whilst he was out for 10 weeks or so, was yes he had been partying and all that encompasses but the main reason he was out was due to getting a home job tattoo at this particular party or session and the tattoo got infected so badly he wasn’t able to play or run. The tattoo was on his foot.

it's a tight line. do we want a top3 mid in his prime years- from a club that has had recent success...? yes

do we want a top5 ruckman to fill our current need of a ruckman who can get on the park? yes

i definitely got a bit trigger happy with trading our draft picks but if either of them are available then why not us?

fwiw - i actually don't think we take curtin. i don't believe hes the 2nd best player in the draft
Clarko has said he will be looking for players to take the club to a premiership. It will be interesting to see if he believes 1 or both of these players will be part of this. l would take 1 at the most but not both...l still think that we need 1 pick either #2 or #3 for one of the kids. If we could get GC 1st pick then sure try for both but l would rather try for Chol at a lesser pick and go for Oliver at #3 and still keep #2 and #5 GC to offer for Reid if we decide we want him or either McKersher, Curtin, Sanders or Watson with these picks. Melbourne would offer WC 3 ,6, and 15 and we could counter with 2,5 and 14 if needed...

Adam 'George" Clooney was just saying on the wireless that sides need to get braver during trade month. I actually don't disagree, but his example was interesting.

Richmond should move on Martin and Lynch and bring in two top 5 picks. Then make a play for Reid. Now he added it wouldn't happen as Richmond wouldn't do it.

I'm suggesting they would fwiw. I cannot think of club around that woud agree to it though. It is a concern when bf is more level headed than paid commentators.

Oh well.

Then why was he training at close to 100% a few weeks after his so called injury?

Mckercher has stated that he loves the big city Melbourne lifestyle as there is so much to do, and he would be rapt if he was drafted by a Melbourne club.

I'd be disappointed if we didn't pick this kid.

Look, I never said how, I just do it.
Nah, Caddy was ambitious, but I think there’s a chance for the first 3 if we trade with GC for the pick swaps. Anything else after those 3 would be a bonus
If we targeted 6 and 7 instead of 5 (which requires more picks) we might be a chance, not sure if using picks ‘something’ like this could work.

GWS P6 > 14, 60 (Haynes + Salary)
GEE P7 & F2nd > 19, F19, F20

NM P2, 3, 6, 7

Could end up with McKercher, Watson, O’Sullivan, Caddy.

There's a possibility Clarko see's Hodge 2.0 in Reid.

Given the impact he had on his flags, he's willing to sell the farm for it.

It's a heck of a gamble though with our current draft hand.

I have some doubts on Harley's game style completely transitioning to AFL football. He's going to drive fans crazy with the amount of times he gets caught holding the ball next year.
He does love a fend off. :stern look
