Going to cop backlash on this but he gets a lot of it but doesn’t use it well. If we were to give up high draft picks I’d want it to be for someone with better efficency.

He’s a hellava player and a real big time footballer but yeah he’s more the JZ type ‘get ball, throw ball on boot’ clearance midfielder.

He’s BEST mates with Jy, so don’t be surprised if our captain is having a coffee with our coach at some stage to discuss the potential.

What do you want from a guy that’s been kicking to Ben Brown for three years?
I’m just so over having players who can’t hit a target. If it were between Oliver and Simpkin I’d take Oliver in a heartbeat but the mere thought of both of them in the side does my head in.

Oliver also had knee surgery once Melbourne were doneski.

That's a hamstring, a knee, and a foot infection (???) all in one year. Separate rumors of drug and off field lifestyle issues.

And then some puff pieces come out saying clubs are looking at prising him out of Melbourne despite a 300 year long contract.

There's some smoke here. No idea what kind though.

Are you serious? His disposal efficiency is about the same as Bont, Serong, Rowell and Green.
Fair enough, perhaps I jumped the gun. I just don’t think we should entertain the trade given the Dees would want one of picks 2 or 3, we need to take these to the draft.

Recruiting footballers with previous knee problems are our 1 Wood..

There's quite a bit to chew on in there.

Oliver endured a horror season due to a three-month hamstring injury. In recent times senior teammates have become increasingly more frustrated and concerned in equal measure with his welfare, to the point where Oliver moving away from his Camberwell house and in with captain Max Gawn has been seriously canvassed as a temporary option.

And

In addition to his public argument with Melbourne’s strength and conditioning boss Selwyn Griffith, Oliver became frustrated at the club’s medical and high-performance team throughout his long layoff.

He told friends the Demons should have handled his hamstring injury better.
When he had a knee complaint in early September, Oliver elected to visit a non-club physio to receive treatment.

But Melbourne believed the three-time All-Australian did not show enough professionalism in his rehabilitation.

Suggestions that Oliver's foot became infected after he tried to tattoo himself earlier in the year were neither confirmed nor denied by the club
when SEN.com.au made formal contact on Tuesday.

There are plenty of dees posters filthy with his disposal, and willing to push him out the door.
I’d ask Melb what they would accept
Pick 2/3 walk away
Using our PP’s? Could be an option

Just In.

North Melbourne legend Jamie MacMillian is set to come out of retirement and sign with the Kangas, reports are saying he will come straight into the team and replace Bailey Scott on the wing.

Per, The Nostradamus

More red flags than Tiananmen Square.

Avoid at all costs.

They interviewed him on Ch 7 tonight….Watson mentioned that he has a 7 year contract and that the dees had stated no chance in moving.. what was also interesting is that Oliver admitted he had been in to have work done on his knee but didn’t say what.
So at 6.50 no chance to now an article saying there’s issues with him… and looking to trade 🤔🤔🤔🤔
If true what Would dees be demanding ….but ld be very darn cautious…something fishy
