Tom Morris also mentioned last night he expects Jack Billings to nominate Essendon.

Magoo, Goldy, Duursma, Gresham, Billings :drunk:

What a way to spend your warchest.
Dodoro opening up Savers Tullamarine. The recycled goods superstore down there.

Dylan Stephens = The Thomas

Tom Morris is confident it's Band 1 because of his age.

We will find out tomorrow.

We should have the pick (whatever it is) by the end of weekend if it's not tomorrow.
The way I understand it is that we won't find out anything until Monday at the earliest. * will submit their offer & we will be told 24 hrs after that as the AFL take time to mix the secret herbs & spices. (Not sure if it's 24hrs from the offer or business hrs).

Lol * gets smashed in the contested ball, not one of the above improves their position, in fact I’d argue apart from Magoo, all of those players are behind someone else at the bombers

I will keep my powder dry until I see what we give up,.

My thoughts are clear, this is a Bonar/Ahern style punt, the trade value should reflect it.

If Mick Barlow turns Stephens into a quality wingman based on his first 40 games, he deserves a promotion.

Oliver trade talk is a fizzer. He's staying.

Clayton Oliver has told Melbourne he wants to stay and Melbourne is open to Oliver staying as a potential trade out de-escalates.

Crisis meetings in the past 48 hours, which included an update to the board at a meeting on Wednesday night, have detailed the positions of the club and Oliver and his management.

Those meetings included coach Simon Goodwin, chief executive Gary Pert and general manager of football performance Alan Richardson.

The club wants the three-time best and fairest winner to remain, but wants a commitment from Oliver to improve his professionalism and to continue to address some significant mental health concerns.

The professionalism component reared its head this season after a series of personal and injury issues confronted the 25-year-old.

The mental health issues have been on-going and the club has worked tirelessly to help Oliver in recent seasons.

In turn, Oliver has indicated he is prepared to address and where he can improve in those areas.

The only responsible thing to do is take Oliver out for pre-best and fairest beers on Friday.
Get him nice and jovial before the ceremony

Good business. Drury has attributes and is a terrific young leader. Dawson necessary and personally I rate him. Free, gee, I hope he never has to play AFL for us but holds down VFL ruck and is a smash glass in case of emergency back-up for Xerri and CCJ.
