Definitely keen on the Geelong 8 upgrade.

I reckon the eagles will hold pick 1 when trade period ends but will trade it before the draft for overs

Sides seem to be getting more professional these days.

It was taking 3-4 days of nothing to get deals and players moved a few years ago.

I think with pick trading, clubs realise the importance of getting player deals done early and getting their picks in their hand so they can further maximise their draft hands.

I don't get it even being mooted. They weren't in consideration with 6, 14 and future first. They've barely nudged forward and none of those picks get the Eagles anyone of worth.

They'll have 10 too if they trade us Petty.

There were a few murmurs mid year we really liked Caddy.

In the event WC don't budge, it's a solid plan B

I imagine we would REALLY like O'Sullivan at that pick, as it would enable us to go McKercher and Duursma/Watson, if not O'Sullivan, Caddy will be gettable at the Geelong pick, which would be a good fall back.

I'm trying to figure out "where we want to pick from" which is what Brady said specifically the other day.

That’s an insane amount of draft capital to burn through to get pick 1, they still have to take other picks to the draft.

Eagles wont trade 1 if they do until the pick trade section of the post season. Only value in them trading now is to ontrade for a player. If they wait you get a better lay of the land.

Trading out 18, 21, 25 to move up one spot.

On draft night those picks are 22, 25, 29.

WC would be Petty not to take that
