In the bottom right scenario we are giving up 2 & 10 for Pick 1. But really we are giving up 2,10, 14 & F19. That is a too higher price to pay and I’ll be pretty filthy if we did that.
Well really we’d be giving up 2, 14 and F19 right? We’ve just packaged up those last two for 10. It’s not actually a cost of 4 picks… and with that F19 being handed to us for being shit I’m much less attached to it so for me it’s 2 and 14. I don’t hate it on face value but I expect the eagles will want more than 2 and 10. So they can get ****ed tbh

The Bulldogs have literally sold the farm to kick and scratch their way to pick 4 which is likely to be Pick 6 on draft night.

Says heaps about the goldmine we're sitting on with picks 2 & 3 if Band 1 comes through.

Regardless of how good Reid is, he won't match the combined grunt of selections 2 & 3.

Look how 2 and 3 worked out this year and for the Dees when they did it. The sum of the parts are usually greater than the individual.
We're in a great spot this year in terms of the draft.

Yes abit more logic in that.... we were given the pp to use and in that scenario we have chosen to use them to assist with getting pick 1...

Agree but also need to take into consideration your list too.

In fairness, he hasn't played in any of those positions other than onball.

I don't think it's fair to list those as a strength of McKercher when he's never played there or demonstrated any performances there.

He certainly has attributes which would lend themselves to those positions, he's going as a top 3 pick because he's a center square midfielder that averages over 30 possessions and a goal a game.
The best players in under age who can play on ball, invariably do play on ball. However, very few of them are played on ball straight away at AFL level. Most are put on flanks or the wing and a number struggle because they lack attributes. Not McKercher - he has the attributes to play in a variety of positions and that is a key consideration for scouts even if they played mainly on ball at under age.

Sorry to kill your happiness there DuckYeah but wrong McDonald
They are chasing Ronald to co sponsor their side and give players McFranchises
We just have to get the swans on side and do a sleight of hand - get Stephens to us and send Luke to freo thinking they’re getting Logan.
👍🏼

Is the captain average then?

Barely anything between them this season and Jy plays about 10% more game time.

When Will has a fully developed tank, he will blow past him as a midfielder.

The captain will be pushed to a wing/half forward/mid rotation if we can get enough bona fide A grade midfielders.

I'm praying that Wardlaw can overcome injuries and that TT decides to stay.

That will give us an A grade midfield.

And then Barrett said look how much was required for pick 4 so that sets the std for pick 1.... what a load of crap!

Agree, take 2,3 and trade up for 10.

Let eagles have the one quality pick as they will not trade with anyone else and risk dropping to pick 4 or 5.

North actually holds the power if pick 3 is given to us.

At best we give 2 and 19.

If you don’t think 2 and 10 is enough, you don’t need to add 14. Use PPs or…

NM out: 2, 10 & LMac (incl. salary?)
NM in: 1

NM: 1, 3, 14, 19, 20 (PP)

NM get Harley Reid with onfield leadership upgrade and still have 5x first round picks, WC get 2x top ten picks and a player they’ve coveted for 10 years.

Yeah but how good does 2, 3, 10, 14, 19, 20 (PP) look!
