That reads like carbon copy of Bowes last year: Hawthorn arrived late to the party, Sam Mitchell impressed player but it was too late.
would've been pretty impressive work if Sam, while playing and then assistant coach at WCE, was simultaneously the coach of Fremantle as Henry came through the NGA ranks

He may nominate for the open draft regardless. Hilarious.

If you were Riley, why wouldn't you go for the open draft? Almost guaranteed to go first round and to a team far, far better than North.

They won't get high picks for Fisher and they know it.

Late season form after not being best 22?

Whatever we'd get for Kosi in a trade is probably a similar ballpark. Maybe a tad more since he's still in contract.
But it’s the contract that’s hamstringing clubs. Isn’t he locked in for 2 years at $500k+? Carlton would be looking to offload that salary so can’t see him being worth much

More offcuts for the pot of stone soup. (apologies if something similar posted earlier, this thread fills up too fast to keep a good eye over)

Some snippet from Essendon board:

"Spoke with Ben recently He does not want to move to Sydney and notes the cost of living associated. Hawthorn and Essendon have offered contracts, however Hawthorn have offered a larger deal with potential for increases with future CBA negotiations. At the time, we had not offered this clause"

It was mentioned on Gettable that Essendon are one of a few clubs that don’t offer this clause. Surely a no brainer then for Mckay.

If this was the case

If Essendon offered Mckay increases in CBA's and I know they haven't been to others (Parish, Zerrett, Redman)
Turmoil

and this totally matches up with the last reports from ITKs on this board... and further proves that Ralph is, as always, way off

Sounds promising.
