If the rival offer didn’t trigger ‘band one’ compensation, which would be Pick 3, the Roos would likely match and either force a trade or try and convince him to stay.

North, in a sense, holds all the cards, but he’ll get bigger offers elsewhere.

Why would McKay choose to stay at NM after they've shown they don't REALLY value him?

Cadman from the Giants still unsigned and OOC next year. I wonder what he will cost.

Would be the perfect foil for Lewis longterm.

ML's partner is crime was under our nose the whole time.

Bring him home.

could say the same about Weddle being out of contract end of next year - not many players leave after their first two year contract

Hugely embarrassing for them if he walked after they traded up to pick 1 for him.

saying they have no idea where McKay is playing next year.
RoughNLove said it is done to us, so maybe McKay is waiting for North's B and F before he makes it public
I know we've had multiple ITK's confident that he doesn't want to leave VIC but I can't help but shake the feeling that all this screams of McKay's manager trying to extract more $$$ out of the Swines. The cost of living in Sydney is no joke so I guess we'll see where it all ends up and hopefully we'll find out soon. Either way I'd love to see what Peter Burge could do with getting him to stay on the park to sort out key pillar down back so there's one less thing to worry about.

Not sure the ~10% cost of living difference is all that big of a deal when you’re on $750k
