Freeing up Sicily is worth every cent spent on this. It adds something to both our midfield and our forward line.

Obviously we will be overpaying to get him but we have the cap space and it won’t cost us in trade capital. If we are going to drop down a draft spot anyway given what other clubs are offering, paying up to fill an important spot in the side is worth it.

We could offer Sam Taylor a little bit more money than this next year, when he's out of contract.

Go read North's GameDay threads, and you'll see the same frustration with McKay as Hawks supporters have with Frost.

If it comes down to $$$ no one is getting Taylor out of GWS. I mean we've all seen how that story plays out with the AFL making the impossible happen <insert whatever named ambassadorial deal here>. The only way you'll get him is if he wants to leave and by all reports the club stood by him solidly when he contracted that mystery illness that almost killed him.
