This is where we need the AFL to allow us to trade the 2024, 2025, 2028, 2032 future 1sts

There is zero chance WCE let Allen go, especially while he's in contract.

He is by far their best and most valuable player. He’s a local and in contract. Would be an absolute disaster for them and I can’t see it happening. If by some extraordinary turn of events he did become available, sides in contention like Collingwood and Melbourne would go hard at him, as would every other club

I gave a pretty big tip when I wrote that I’m “naught sure who it could be”. Most people picked that up and worked it out.

We’ve also had other posters mention our interest, as other clubs are aware of it.

I’m told Dogs know that they are at risk of losing him next year. They have a couple of players who are looking around.

If that offer was on the table we are the big winners. Allen is one of the only rock solid A-Graders on their list in a market crying out for KPFs.

They wouldn't jump at it at all unless we offered something stupid like 3 + F1 with nothing in return and even then doubtful. He's 25, one of the top 5 KPF prospects in the AFL, is a local and in contract. It's highly unlikely whoever they get at pick 3 will be as good as him and our F1 could be anything up to pick 10.

The only way we could get him is if he was out of contract and forcing a trade, and even then it would still need to include Pick 3 + F1.

i thought we were actually quite open to moving on our future 1st, but perhaps only for pick upgrades or first rounders this year

The problem is that to get pick 4 from the Suns it would take our F1 so you can't offer something you don't have. Maybe we could just send the Suns a sticky note with the wording FF1
