I think to make it a bit more fun, we keep a record of the most ludicrously over-the-top suggestions for how we get pick one from WCE.

Here's my clubhouse leader...

So, Brockman, Frost, Scrimshaw, Kosi AND Pick 3...for Pick 1

Post your suggestions here, and then at least we can discuss which poster has lost the plot more...
I mean if that was the price I reckon the club would jump at it. 2 of those players are gone anyway and Frost isnā€™t worth much beyond a F4. It would be less than paying 3 and a F1.

Eagles wouldnā€™t accept it though.

Kosi to the tigers for pick 26 and their future first.
Brocky to the Eagles for pick one and their 2024 first.

Hawthorn pick 51 for Gold Coast pick 4 and pick 71 and Chol

Haynes salary dump for GWS pick 6 and 15.

Pick 71 to Essendon for Ambrosia or we pick him up PSD.

Pick 30 for Geelong pick 10.

Am I doing this right?

Hey glad to see so many people have found the draft pick calculator and think they understand the system! Itā€™s going to blow your mind, but pick 54 isnā€™t worth 220 points itā€™s closer to 450. Thatā€™s half of the points needed for a player bid on at pick 20. Still think we should play hardball and not take it?

What are you talking about? It's quite explicitly worth 220 points.

I do not pretend to understand the draft value! I simply stated if it does not add value to our draft hand then we should play hard hall.

1. 20% discount for bid matching
2. Bids will be matched by around 3 picks each time (more for early bids less for later). One pick is added and 3 picks removed for the match so net -2 hence 54 becomes 52 if all those picks are before 54. 3 academy and 2 FS in top 25 so roughly 5 x -2 = -10 pick 54 becomes 44.

Itā€™s an approximate of course but you get the point.

You have to tip your hat to St Kilda in recent years - perennial losers of the AFL, but invariably seem to attract players to their club.
Never ever underestimate the allure of dwarf throwing, you can't get that at any other club.
