It goes beyond that imo there should be zero concessions. Not to mention you’re saying to kids in NSW and QLD well if the club wants you then you can stay home. How’s that sit with Harley Reid who from reports isn’t happy with the idea of moving to WA.

I’m sorry but everywhere you look in the afl there are special deals and policy on the fly. Free agent compensation, rules around taking first round picks, salary cap dumps, paying part of a players salary at another club, academy rules, afl handouts, ambassador payments and on and on it goes. We don’t even have a draw, we have a fixture where some clubs are gifted massive drawing games and others dead zone money pits.

Anyway I’m over it and I’m done talking about it, I’m sure it brings people down so I’ll mark this down as rant day and move on.
It may be a rant, but it's 100% on the money.

I do agree with you, but that kick forward that Ro marked was just deplorable in thought and style!
Also he burnt Crouch in the second/forth qtr he was inside 50 near the boundary kicked to top of square Tiger mark instead of handballing to Crouch running square onto goal 30m out but on angle....he just burnt a team mate in a better position

Wouldn’t be a trade thread without the obligatory mention of Constable. I have a feeling that even when he retires from footy, some folks on here will throw his name up.

‘He might be 33 but he’s still stuck behind some good players and he’s posting decent numbers in the VFL.’

Speaking of GC, any thoughts on Charlie Constable?

He cannot crack a shot in the midfield at the Suns (although that may change with Dimma coming in).

Averages about 30 disposals, 6 marks, 5 or 6 tackles in the VFL all year.

Is a Melbourne boy, and played for Sandy Dragons.

Also is only 24 still, and a good size at 1.91m.

Hmm
Yuk , no thanks

I doubt that he'll be able to delay his retirement to 33.

I also heard he kicked his dog once........

The dislike for Gresh really is reching fever pitch.

If we are looking to trade Howard, hopefully he isn't available for selection before the end of the season.
Potentially playing VFL will drop his value and leave us short handed at the trading table

The VFL competition ends this weekend so no chance he'll play VFL. Having him available for finals would be interesting though if Cordy keeps up his form he could find himself out of the side for sure.

If Z plays, we win. Could potentially bring Dougs back to FB and put Z as rover. Wing, even. He can do anything. We’re just better with him.

It’s that time of year and half the team have been bagged out are worthless, can’t play, can’t run, can’t kick and need to go. The mood has changed a bit on here in recent times, I don’t remember it being this bad but maybe it was.

I see, he played against the Hawks as well. 10 and a goal, couple of tackles.
Yes.
Initially I mistook him for Hotton.
So, somewhat similar in appearance and style.
Seems to have good pace, good skills.
To my eye, talented.
I can see why he is playing at this level.
At this point I don’t think he is going early, but certainly someone who should be drafted. Late second feels about right.

Zaine Cordy about to be a x2 premiership player

Ivan Soldo will be the 1 to go from Richmond

I'm sure there will be something that "crops up" to keep him out a little longer without having to sit him in the VFL

Get Dusty for a couple of years.
