I think Schoenberg and Strachan are likely to be moved on next year too.
Replaced with our picks in the 4th round, don't be surprised if they're the rookie upgrades. We'll have no picks to get anyone of value outside of our first.

Stevens looks like a likely father sons.Replaced with our picks in the 4th round, don't be surprised if they're the rookie upgrades. We'll have no picks to get anyone of value outside of our first.
With the change in the rules to allow futures a couple years in advance, I'm more confident doing it knowing there's avenues to get them back.Stevens looks like a likely father sons.
There is also free agency.
Can use future picks too.
But imo we should be not using any future picks to move up pick 4.
I can’t imagine any team trading a 2025 pick for a 2027 pick, unless they know they have F/S or academy players I guess? Picks two years in advance will be used for player trading and all it’ll do is make players more expensiveWith the change in the rules to allow futures a couple years in advance, I'm more confident doing it knowing there's avenues to get them back.

We won’t mess this one up
The only we we could I think is if we traded our future 1st to get higher which is unnecessary
Reckon Langford is a more guaranteed AFL mid than FOS personally and can’t go wrong with the others
I think they mean he doesn’t hurt the team by not turning it overAny talk of Jagga having lack of hurt factor is rubbish. He makes smart decisions and his team retain possession. That to me is hurt factor
So Laird’s had ‘hurt factor’ all alongI think they mean he doesn’t hurt the team by not turning it over
Still wonder if the talk of trading up is to ensure we get Draper ahead of Carlton..... All very interesting.
Who keeps having recurring foot issues (navicular), Stanley and Blicavs are veterans both 34 next season, Mitch Edwards has hardly played with back issues.Sounds like Cats are willing to trade F1 for Dodson
Don’t get it, given they have Conway
Because we think Smith is in Carlton’s calculations, tooIf you don’t believe me, consider this
If North are taking Tauru at 2
And Carlton are choosing between FOS and Draper
Then why would need to trade up to get Smith?
I guess it makes sense if they don’t trust Conway’s health, but it seems to be a pretty early callWho keeps having recurring foot issues (navicular), Stanley and Blicavs are veterans both 34 next season, Mitch Edwards has hardly played with back issues.
Because I highly doubt the crows know who carlton wants. If you don’t believe me, consider this

I am just hoping next year is the year we finally decide to bring in a decent young ruck option to replace Strachan. Someone 23-24 years old that can continue to develop to be first ruck but also come in to replace ROB if he is injured. We've got lots of mids, Schoey is going to need lots of injuries and then play extremely well. Even then, he may find himself delisted. Wouldn't be so certain with Strachan. We'd need Murray to come on and even then he's undersized or we'd need a RTG state league backup. We won't be going into a season with only one ruck.
JHFAgreed. Most people would think they're going to be one club players initially
