As I replied to 119, if they think he’s the better ruckman they’ll get him. They can then move on other rucks, Soldo is done and Port have shown they are not adverse to loading up on rucks.

By the way I’m not saying they will, my post was in relation to 1990 saying who cares we can get him back, we won’t if Port pick him and even if they don’t, there’s no guarantee we get him back, in fact it’s less likely than likely to happen.
Oh for sure but I do reckon they'll be looking at mids and small forwards

Plenty of good ones at their picks.

You think that's why Voss personally travelled to SA recently to gauge this?

Carlton has done a last round interview with [emoji6]-[emoji6] players at each players home

The fact Draper is in SA has probably taking Carlton’s interest in Draper a little out of context

We got the gun midfielder a few years ago in Rankine and the previous year in Dawson and last year in Curtin.

What a mix

Dawson - Footy IQ
Rankine - pure X factor
Curtin - big bodied mid
Draper - burst and power from stoppage

edit - apology to Soligo - clean hands in stoppages

Double edit - let’s now forget to throw in Peatling

Wait for the meltdown when Nicks goes with Mrouch and Laird instead. :$

Now all we have to do is ply them in the middle.

Also my apology to Soligo - let’s not forget his clean hands at stoppages

Was just about to mention Peatling’s speed….

Im fascinated to see if a team tries to come hard for North's Pick 2 on draft night.

This could still potentially turn the draft on its head for a few teams. Draper should still fall to us with that said at Pick 4.
I had assumed they want Tauru (which being stubborn is still my belief) meaning they can’t slide too much otherwise Dees and Tiges at 6 both a chance of grabbing him

If they want a mid, there does seem to be a top 4-5 mids doesn’t there? Again not sure why they would want to drop out of this top 6 pick range.

In reality, not many potential trade partners that Kangas would be open to dealing with IMO, otherwise they “do a West Coast” and miss out at the elite end of the draft if dropping too far down

My understanding is that they will take FOS at Pick 2 and then look to trade their F1 for Tauru if he slides.

Keep an eye for the Saints picks in this draft, Travaglia considered a replacement for NWM.

And gotta love Power are often using their F1 early (again occurred with Luko bought for F1) meaning they would find it hard to compete with us in terms of Saints compo as a 2025 first is much more valuable than a 2027 one
Ps some summer homework is checking out that Saint posters credibility as sounded quite definitive

Actually next year a 2025 1st will be more compromised because of F/S picks and Academy players.
