Howabout a maybe on that take.
That looked like a busted a$e wuntil around round 13 when they beat the dogs.

Sure they were in a GF last year...and ultimately won one.
At round 12 or so. The Jury was out if they were even going to play finals.
Because they started their pre season late as did Collingwood.
Watch us start off terribly this year.

Interesting to note that Kennedy doesn't get drafted at all in the ESPN draft.
They have no idea . His dad just told me one scribe had him at the Filth at 51 , the family is Collingwood , but happy with us. I will be going around with a scarf and jumper

Zero

Different roles
Even so, structurally not the worst thing if you moved some pieces around - if Chad does leave.

Prioritise inside types more with maybe Gulden as the main outside man and pinch-hitters like Dattoli and Papley rotating through there.

I hope that was something they considered. I still thinking getting our inside-outside mix right at CBAs is the most obvious improvement we're equipped to make next year.

Having one less useless tall forward would help too. Huge problem area

I wish that this business of players' reactions to being drafted being filmed was a thing more than say 5+ years ago. Can you imagine the reactions of players like Parker and Papley?!
The only thing that annoyed me was that once picked, the player would then do a lap of the room hugging everyone from the parents, to the grandparents, to the waiter, to the taxi driver outside. It took up most of the 5 minutes between picks just getting around to everyone and became pretty boring after a while.

Humbug.

Here’s who Twomey linked to us post pick 30 in his phantom on Monday:

There's a stack of players they have done work on, including half-back Angus Clarke, tall defender Riak Andrew, midfielder Luke Kennedy and ruckman Jacob Molier. VFL prospect Riley Bice has also been looked at as has small forward Rhys Unwin and versatile defender Blake Leidler, while medium forward Sam Davidson is another in the mix.

(Presumably we can strike off the small and med fwds)

Who knows who makes it through to our eventual pick 🤷‍♂️
Not sure why we'd be looking at a ruckman

Doesn't look like Joe Harrison will get picked up this year, but I hope he stays with our VFL side and puts his best foot forward there. Could be a mature-age pick-up like Kirk, Sheather, Wicks, etc.

Not sure he’s AFL standard, the ones you’ve listed only Wicks is and that’s barely. Not a glowing endorsement to say the least

He sounds like what we need. I'm all on board if we pick him.

Re Cochrane, sends Hiscox vibes. Can run but not sure he is a footballer. Also doesn't really fill any hole in our list as he sounds more like a medium / running HB / Wing type. I wouldn't match for him until after our next pick and ideally, pick him up as a rookie.

Hey least I didn’t say it about Cochrane.
