I now don't know whether I like this or not because I feel like 16 will be used on Whitlock 😂

But 21 on Dattoli would cheer you up ;)

If we're looking for a midfielder late in the draft I think Luke Kennedy is a solid option. Played senior footy at the age of 15, was amongst Sandringham's most consistent midfielders this year. Elite 2 way runner and can deliver the ball exceptionally well off his right and left boot.

I might just be overrating them, but I always thought the crows at least used to be good at spotting good solid mids with late picks - Sloan, Lyon, Atkins (yeah yeah I know).

13 & 29 for 16 and 21 looks like it could be on the go.

Keep you posted.

GWS picks.

I wonder who gws would be jumping up for since they have 15, and who they don’t expect to be there.

In isolation I don’t mind that pick swap, but can’t see shanahan lasting to 16 so I’m not sure if we should do that if we want a kf.

After the 2 highest rated kpf I’m not sure there’s as much between the rest.

Ie if I can have one Whitlock or 2 of sims , west Nicholls barrat ofarrell etc with later picks the second option sounds better.

I've read GWS are interested in Lindsay and he could go beween our pick and theirs. Twomey hasn't linked us with him at all to date.

Also, Twomey thinks GWS are keen on Berry but so are Freo and they have the only pick between us and GWS.

Twomey thinks clubs rank Shanahan, Whitlock and Faull closely, the order depends on the recruiters.

It is really going to come down to who slides to 13 and if we can live without that player. The bids could heat up at that point because clubs know we could deal.

I’d have to be pretty sure who we have targeted would be there if we move back the first pick.
It’s starting to feel like we have another Andrew Moore type Rabbit out of hat trick coming.
Getting bad vibes.

Twomey also linked us with Harry Oliver, who would be more likely to be there at 21 than 29. And GWS are linked to him with 21.

Feels like hynes and Gerreyn to me. Both players we were rumoured to be interested in early in the piece.
21 is a bit early for Gerreyn, more likely that one of him or Barratt is available at 36. If we do get 16 and 21 I would 100% target Hynes and Dattoli/Hannaford.

However, my 1st preference would be we keep 13 and pick Reid or Shanahan. And then Hannaford or Gross or 29. But if neither Reid or Shanahan are available then trade for sure.

2nd preference would be Hynes and Dattoli/Hannaford at 16 and 21. Then Gerreyn and Dennis with 36 and 50, or Barratt and West with 36 and 50

A half-back again would be devastating at 21 or 29

Twomey also linked us to Hannaford and Moraes. Otherwise you're back to more talls.

Addy23 Who is Brarat? what position?

A utility that started the year as a tall forward where he kicked 20 odd goals in CTL before he moved to the tall back position in the 2nd half of the year. Highly competitive, started playing senior footy when he was 15 year I think, his contested and intercept marking is elite. Set shot kicking is questionable but he also played a bit of midfield during the year.

See him as an intercept tall back that's now touted to go in the top 35. His 2nd half as a defender was great.
