Not really, our inability to create anything off half back exposed us in the finals.

I'm not too fussed with the position of the player we pick. Go for the biggest X factor available IMO.

We already have a rookie list spot available.

Narkle and F. Evans were the two held on the rookie list so if one goes to Logan Evans we still have 1 available unless Im missing something here.

So we have 5 Main list spots + 1 Cat A Rookie + 1 Cat B Rookie

Only Narkle was rookie F Evans was on the senior list

biggest x factor is Hotton probably, if it wasn't for the acl and subsequent op, then it would be easier decision. Suppose recruiters see the doctors reports and know the risks.

This should not stop us from picking him.

Our medical people will be all over it.

A minor tidy up is probably nothing at all.

Might push him back to the second round though?

20 yo, 113 Kg, 202cm, twice Leg's reserves B&F in consecutive seasons. Stuck behind Boyd at Nord.

Is he athletic enough?
Is he a combative type?
Skill level?
Upside?

IMO , we need to draft outside speed with class. We have lost Amon and Duursma in the last 2 years and Boaky will probably be in his last season. We haven’t drafted a genuine outside mid to fill that bill in the last 3 drafts. I would like to see class + speed and a good penetrating kick - and of course someone who knows how to get the haggot !!!

Yeah he's just an accumulator and I don't think he fits I think too similar to Rozee.
We need a Wines replacement but a better kick.

Wasn't getting the number one role at Norwood. Good move to the Roosters.

Doesn't do much wrong maybe just one good sanfl season someone gives him a shot.

We’ve drafted jase sinn and Lorenz just recently. We’ve drafted far more wingers / outside runners than we’ve drafted genuine mids, of which the last one we drafted that’s still on our list is mead.

Got through a season with minimal time off and may get through preseason with minimal time off.

He was arguably best on when drafted in the Club internal to half time playing as a Centreman and I would argue his best performances in the Magoos have come from playing as a Midfielder.

But hey…

Jack Ough is someone whos flown under the radar a bit, but his form this year was as good as any. He’d be a bargain at 29 imo

Bo Allan would be just about ideal, but sitting right under West Coast's nose it's hard to see him getting to us, unless we pull a swifty pick trade on the night.
