They have us taking Jack Whitlock

You can’t teach Whitlock’s size, and he is mobile, boasts good endurance, gets into dangerous spots inside 50, kicks goals from marks and at ground level, can serve as a relief ruckman and has upside. Whitlock is one of three key forwards rated in this draft range, but the order differs between clubs, so he could already be gone.
If not: Whitlock might be unavailable, or the Power might opt for his twin Matt instead as someone who can play at both ends. Berry would be tough to pass up as well.

Travaglia, Shanahan, Allan, Armstrong all gone before our pick.

Hotton (18) and Reid (20) still on the table.

If we are wanting talls wouldn't be the worst idea picking up a set of tall brothers.

Makes the chances of them leaving much less too.

It was pretty cool having two sets of brothers in our premiership team in 2004. Thought they really fed off each other too.

I'm really liking Clancy Dennis later.
Only things I have seen in articles about Dennis is:
. bottom ager - so room to improve
. 194cm but skinny as - no idea how he copes with taller, big-bodied forwards
. resolute and composed
. no indication of leg speed, athleticism, disposal skills, aerial ability, clean hands, vision, etc.

It's an incredibly good pick up for nothing or a couple of concussions away from a waste.

It's about the mark he's just too talented to not take the risk.

I 100% support going for the risk pick except for consussions, especially when we don't have a good reputation on managing it.

ACL injuries I can back as Georgiades, Farrell and Gray returned well.

Based on C4 picks swap rumour, Reid (please) and another late first for Hannaford, Whitlock, Dattoli, Alger, Faull (i.e. all forwards).

Cuuuuuuuuum

Addy will have more on him.

He was in the All-Australian team IIRC.

He's got good footballing skills, good mark, loves to make to be 3rd up down back in a marking contest, good kick, good aerial ability, seems to be a smart player.

I think he has a really good sense of being a tall backmen. Likes the one on one but innately knows when to help out.

Dunno about speed.

Reminds me a touch of Aliir but with a better kick.

I like the look of Faull, big powerful kid, has forward craft and less exposed form than the other talls who are getting talked about more. If we dropped back a couple of spots and drafted him, I don't think we would be losing much if anything if it's one of the tall forwards we want.
This guy to, seems to be slipping back into late 40 s and 50s.

The Age phantom draft had Jasper Alger being picked with GWS pick 21 and Hannaford straight after.

They also link Christian Moraes and Cooper Hynes to Port (neither of whom they have in their first round).

Looks like a horrible kicking action, just want us to find a tall who can kick.

I guess you have to admire their ambition, if not their disregard for history.

I love that "may need to give up a future second" as if clubs should just be handing them earlier picks because crows privilege.

Does go ok but not getting a run.

Wouldn't be shocked if he plays useful sanfl for a season and gets picked up by Tasmania as way of making Douglas feel a little more comfortable over there.

We have to have a plan to get Douglas.

You are referring to our Russian NGA player Duglas Kokyrin?

They'll have to get a future second from somewhere first - theirs went to GWS for Pleating.

Would make sense, it would be interesting to see how this pans out because if Freo really want Berry they may give up 14 and 30 for 13 only
Yes they could but

If they offered that to say Eagles or even Richmond they could get #11 / #12 as both teams really dont lose much but the eagles would jump at another 2nd rounder (If the target was Berry ofcourse)

Hello, I read on main board rumours of a 13,29 for 16 21 swap with GWS. Is this true? I guess makes sense given you need talls and GWS needs more midfield help.
