We have enough people who butcher the ball honestly. There's 2 key traits that this team lacks. One is quality kicking across the park including set shots, the other is the ability to win contested marks. We should be focusing on those after taking the best talent available at 13Moraes would be in contention for our 2nd pick. Has a lot of quality traits…his kicking is not one of them though
Yeah well he pushed for us to get Butters and that was the steal of the decadeI'd be interested to see what Robbie Gray thinks about the talent for our first pick
Ok you've sold me I'm all in on getting Hynes now. I knew he was good but I was only looking at players around the rankings of pick 13.I like the look of Hynes (and his name). A genuine medium sized forward who can run through the midfield is a good fit for us.
And he looks a hard bastard too.
We definitely don't need another player that can't kickMoraes would be in contention for our 2nd pick. Has a lot of quality traits…his kicking is not one of them though
Yeah he's just an accumulator and I don't think he fits I think too similar to Rozee.Admittedly I've only watched a 5 minute highlights clip but not impressed by Hotton's disposal. His kicks and handball look soft and loopy and miss the target more than you would like. His movement in traffic is eye catching though.
I noticed he isn’t a big kick. Barely made the distance 40ish metres out from goal on a slight angle. He moves well though.Admittedly I've only watched a 5 minute highlights clip but not impressed by Hotton's disposal. Yeah and is that really a need for us? Our 3 best players already have thatI noticed he isn’t a big kick. Barely made the distance 40ish metres out from goal on a slight angle. He moves well though.
I don't see it with Reid. Out the players around ranked top 10 he's the one i see as a flopApparently Murphy Reid will be a big slider, his realistic draft range is 15-20.
The age spoke to club recruiters and put out a mock draft, and they have murphy Reid as a massive slider becuase they dont like a small frame without speed.
If he is there to we pick him ahead of a Hotton or Berry
He reminds me of a Harry Sheezel typeI don't see it with Reid. Out the players around ranked top 10 he's the one i see as a flop
Just seems a bit soft for my liking. He reminds me of a Harry Sheezel type
Not the quickest, but very high IQ, the best hands in the draft and a elite kick.
Midfielder Xavier Lindsay, hard-running high half-forward Joe Berry, tall utility Tobie Travaglia and key forward Jobe Shanahan are leading candidates to head to Alberton. There will be good options up for grabs at their second pick, too, including key-position talent. Ex-basketballer Jacob Moss, who is 198 centimetres, will join Port Adelaide’s list for 2025 as a category B rookie.
I don’t like Lindsay
I don’t like Lindsay
I love Berry. Hope we pick him
Travaglia i love, start him half back, then transition him into the midfield.
We exist to pick half backs, Travalgia or Lindsay.I said earlier in this thread Travaglia looks such a Parker pick.
