I love how when the umps see a play is going to be good they to a certain extent ignore the "ran to far" rule.

100% did but umps tend to ignore that rule if the play has a chance to be really good

Thankfully for the girls playing in the GCS-Saints game the temp is a lot lower than was expected and should only be around 24 at game time

I think it's fair to suggest that if the Bulldogs want to be playing finals that they'll need to turn their season around quickly & get there on wins, because I doubt their percentage will recover from this

I went home between today's games and now arriving at KP
As anyone from Geelong (or Vic) could tell you, the wind & weather has been crazy all week - just now I was walking past the Premiership Stand and fighting against the wind as I walked into it
But the drive in from the Bellarine Peninsula, the sky was grey and really couldn't see much of anything around Geelong but coming down the Leopold hill, the lights at the ground had this distinctive glow - couldn't see anything else, but the ground stood out
