All good
I like that image as it gives a clear breakdown
We've had alot of time to fine-tune our social media the last few seasons 😉

So the draft is Monday?

What is everyone hoping for?

Im hoping we get a player with speed with our first pick. Maybe Jess Rentsch.

Our first pick could also be dependent on when/if O'Rourke is bidded on - from last month:

Only four players are destined for AFLW clubs under father-daughter rules ahead of December's draft, with O'Rourke – projected by recruiters to be a potential top-15 pick in an open pool – among the most talented.

Dad Ray had a 75% win rate - impressive when you consider he only played two matches.

Seemingly holds the record for least number of disposals (2) for players having played 2 or more games.

I heard from old mate he only came on later in the 4th. One of the games first ever super subs. Then he did his ACL in the first minute of game 2. Won the lotto, then retired.

She could be absolutely anything, really.

Looks quite rangy, confident overhead, sound kick, moves well. Highlights packages always confirm our biases but she definitely has the tools, both athletically and skill-wise. That's a good start; lots to work with.

Thank you. Able to kick on both feet, nice balance in contests ... great to see.

More on O'Rourke

Bryde O’Rourke

Position: Midfielder
Height: 174cm
State: Victoria, Bendigo Pioneers/Strathfieldsaye
Nomination: Victoria

A tall, strong midfielder (similar height to Bri Davey) who impressed at the Combine. She's quick to burst from the contest and reads the play at a similar pace, meaning she's in the right spots at the right time. Still has some development to go, but is a very promising midfielder.

Where could she go?

Geelong has had a father-daughter selection fall into its lap, after the late discovery that O'Rourke's father, Ray, played two games for the club (for a combined two disposals) in 1969.

And a bit more on Simpson, from the Age

"Simpson, also the sister of former Cat Sam Simpson, was not taken in last year’s draft, but shone with Geelong’s VFLW team this year as an inside, ball-winning midfielder."

"Simpson, 19, was a joint-winner of the Lambert-Pearce Medal with Jordan Mifsud and Akayla Peterson, as the VFLW’s best and fairest. She also won the Debbie Lee Rising Star as best young player."
