Regarding the commentators discussion of who's playing on Roberts and why no tagging role - two players for us who play that type of role are Darcy Moloney & JCG

Moloney not playing due to injury and JCG off having an ankle issue assessed

So it's not necessarily a case of lack of planning but rather you can't necessarily switch a players role mid quarter - let's see what happens after quarter time

Geelong won the coin toss and elected to kick with the win - Eagles had no say

This umpiring is farcical (again). Geelong get pinged 50m earlier in the quarter when a player was over the mark. Eagles player does the same just then, is given ample time to get back, doesn't and it's allowed.
