You could understand him not running if he was absolutely smashed in the votes, as an indication that the membership doesn't want him on the board. But surely a close election would mean that a significant part of the membership wanted Abernathy on the board right?

I mean, its not like a large amount of his votes were canvassed directly pushing people to vote to block Tredders election, and those votes wouldn't normally be submitted... Right?
