Smillie actually creates a big headache when he moves forward considering his size.The knock on smile being poor in the air isn't a huge worry for me. We are wanting him to be a contested beast who can win on the outside and hurt not be the next Jack Riewoldt.
I wouldn't say Cripps is a great overhead mark for his size and doesn't really matter.
He isn’t exactly a strong overhead mark, but he’s a very good contested mark.
He moved forward in the national championships final a couple of times and Tauru was struggling with Smillies strength. He’s also a beautiful shot for goal and a long boot.
