**** I love younah there is a different way.
If FOS gets to 5, which seems to be a chance.
Trade our future first 2025 to Melbourne for 5 and 9 and say to Melbourne, YZE can say it, we are playing the kids we are very likely to be last in 2025, we will be doing a lot of experimenting in 2025, with set/ups/rotations, we are fully invested in this draft and playing them, our future depends on it. Melbourne will want more than future first so give them later pick(s) in 2024 to Melbourne
Then trade for Saints pick 8 with later picks we have, use pick 11 if we have to
I know Blair supposedly is not taking calls but RFC should be considering all trade possibilities to get us in the best position to accumulate and put us in the best position to win premierships down the track
North have been flashing their F1 like nobody’s business.
Especially in a draft that apparently won't be nearly as strong as this years. It's difficult to imagine how we break even trading for their first, let alone actually win. A massive no, use that pick or trade for someone else's first. No deal with Geelong whatsover thankyou. They always finish top 6 due to their home ground soft wins ,so a future 1st aint worth much.
The term Tin Rattlers is synonymous with one team and it ain't North.
You may be too young to remember.

I still find the wash up from 1982 traumatisingR10 2016 the Roos flog the Tigers by 12-goals in Tassie to go two games clear on top of the ladder whilst the Tigers are consigned near the bottom of the ladder.
Roos lost 10 of the next 12 games including an EF loss by 10-goals, sacked a bunch of club heroes end of that season and haven’t seen a final since. Tigers won 3 of next 4 flags.
WTF happened ….

Swans just took a first round ruck and Giants have an academy ruck. We should be pretty safe if we do want him.We need to take Dodson with any of our picks 18+ ….I don’t care which one.
I don’t care if it’s 18. Whilst there may be better ‘players’ at that pick, there’s only 1 x clear best ruckman. So at 18 there’ll be available for example:
Dodson
M Whitlock
Faull
Trainor
Berry
Hotton
Hynes
and half a dozen other very likely types.
If we don’t take Dodson at 18 and take Hotton
and Swans swoop on Dodson at 19, then there goes the premier ruck option in the draft.
But if we take Dodson and Hotton goes at 19, then we still have many other great options at 20, 23, 24.
So I won’t be melting if we take Dodson at 18
even if it seems a little high - it’s all about the balance of players that are available.

Anyone who tugs to the mere thought of Sam Davidson's future medical degree would probably say yes.If Geelong offered pick 45 + a future 1st for pick 24, is that a deal? Think there’ll still be some decent prospects at 45

can someone post?
Was thinking more like Floyd burmeister, Josh Murphy, Hamish DavisAnyone who tugs to the mere thought of Sam Davidson's future medical degree would probably say yes.
Not if we trade for other picks that go out so 8 plus 3 less 1 less 2 becomes 8I read somewhere that we have 8 picks but can only take 7 selections due to our list openings , so if true
trading for more picks will not happen
theyve already bought him a house in torquayDodson is touted as the best ruck prospect.
